Description 此部最新系列的神奇寶貝動畫【神奇寶貝-鑽石&珍珠】，小智來到了神奧地區踏上新的旅程，也換上了令人耳目一新的服裝，一同旅行的夥伴中，除了固定班底-超愛大姐姐的小剛外，也增加了一位新女主角-小光。歷代神奇寶貝動畫系列中，小智身邊都會有位女主角一起共同冒險，初作女主角是自稱美少女的小霞，超世代系列是一位可愛的活潑少女小遙，而本作【神奇寶貝-鑽石&珍珠】則是一位個性爽快、有話直說的10歲小女孩-小光，她以新人神奇寶貝訓練家身分出外冒險旅行，卻在朝向神奇寶貝研究所的途中迷路，而小智剛好正準備展開在神奧地區新的旅程時，遇到了迷路的小光，因緣際會下兩人便結伴同行。

另外，神奇寶貝動畫系列中不可缺少的搞笑靈魂人物-火箭隊，在本作【神奇寶貝-鑽石&珍珠】中當然還會出場搞笑作亂一番，那段讓大家朗朗上口的出場名言，在此作中變得更加震撼人心，而最後仍是會以大家熟悉的畫面「好討厭的感覺」飛上天空消失於天際收場。在神奇寶貝方面，除了最受歡迎的皮卡丘外，還將會有100多隻可愛、帥氣、活潑等各種不同類型的新神奇寶貝豋場。
