Ash and co. are chasing the Combee that will hopefully lead them towards the enchanted honey. Dawn looks up Combee in her Pokédex. Meanwhile, Jessie and James are laying against a tree. They are exhausted. Meowth, on the other hand, wants to keep on tracking Ash and co., so that he can get the enchanted honey. Jessie and James thinks Meowth should just give up, but Meowth doesn't want to be a loser like his two friends.
Ash and co. notice that Combee can fly very fast. Mothim is unable to track down the Combee now that it is out of sight. However, now that Ash and co. have found the special flowers, they refuse to give up on their search. Meowth has managed to get Jessie and James back on their feet, however Jessie and James are walking with their eyes closed. They are imagining themselves in a cartoon where they might fall off a cliff, but they don't think that's ever going to happen. Mewoth looks ahead and finds out that they are at the edge of a cliff. Jessie and James are alert now, and they begin to walk back. Unfortunately for them, the part of the cliff breaks, and Team Rocket falls into the water.
Suddenly, Mothim senses something again. Out of nowhere a Combee wall appears. The wall of Combee begin to fly away. Brock realizes that they must be close to the Amber Castle now that they have seen a Combee wall. Ash and co. follow the Combee wall to an area where a lot of Combee walls are at. Brock feels like they are really close to the Amber Castle now. Sherol is glad that they are almost there, too. Ash wonders where they go next. Mothim begins to fly over towards a waterfall. Pikachu follows Mothim and calls Ash and co. over. Sherol realizes that the Amber Castle must be behind the waterfall. Meanwhile, Team Rocket has been trailing Ash and co. all along. They realize that the Amber Castle is behind the waterfall too.
Behind the waterfall is a cave. Mothim and Pikachu are able to smell the aroma of the honey. They signal Ash and co. over. Ash and co. follow Mothim and Pikachu throughout the cave. They notice that it is very dark in the cave, and with many paths to take they may get lost. Pikachu cries out for Ash and co. Ash and co. run over, and they see that Mothim and Pikachu are near light. Brock looks down and notices that it's a long way down to the bottom. Nevertheless, the group decides to take the path down. The walls shine like crystal. Brock says that Mothim and Pikachu will find the honey for them.
Mothim and Pikachu point to a cavern in the wall. They run inside, and Ash and co. try to follow them. However, when Ash and co. reach inside, Mothim and Pikachu are gone. Ash wants to try and find them, but Brock stops him. Brock tells Ash that it's too dark inside, and Ash may get lost. Ash and co. decide to look for the Mothim and Pikachu in a group. Unfortunately, they come up to a dead end, so now they have to take a different route. Team Rocket is also in the cave. Meowth mentions that they don't need to stay glued to Ash and co. anymore because he can smell the honey. So Team Rocket decides to dig a hole, hoping that it will lead them to the enchanted honey.
Ash and co. manage to go back. They find Mothim and Pikachu. Pikachu doesn't have a happy expression on its face. A huge swarm of Combee fly out. They don't look too happy. The Combee head towards Team Rocket. Ash and co. follow the Combee, and they see Team Rocket digging holes. The Combee are mad because they don't like the fact that Team Rocket dug holes in the ground. Jessie sends out Seviper, and James sends out Cacnea. Seviper and Cacnea begin to attack the Combee. The Combee are really mad now, and they begin to launch Psybeam attacks in the whole cave. Sherol gets an idea. She orders Mothim to use Supersonic on the Combee and Team Rocket's Pokémon. The Supersonic brings the Combee back under control. Dawn then sends out Piplup. Piplup uses Whirlpool to wash Team Rocket away.
With Team Rocket gone, Ash and co. continue their search for the enchanted honey. They take another route, hoping that it will lead them to the enchanted honey. Ash bumps into the wall. Dawn thinks that it might be another dead end, but Mothim is really excited. Sherol notices that the wall is strange looking. The wall is actually a huge Combee wall. The Combee begin to attack Ash and co. Sherol orders Mothim to use Supersonic again. The Supersonic confuses the Combee, and the wall falls apart. Behind the Combee wall is the Amber Castle. The Amber Castle is like a golden palace. At the top is Vespiquen. Dawn looks up Vespiquen in her Pokédex.
Sherol begins to approach Vespiquen. The Combee surround Sherol with angry faces, ready to attack. Sherol explains to Vespiquen that she did not mean to barge right into the castle. All Sherol wants is a sample of the honey. She asks Vespiquen if she can have some of the honey to take with her. Before Vespiquen can make a decision, Team Rocket comes right in through the roof. Team Rocket then says their motto. Jessie sends out Seviper, and James sends out Cacnea and Carnivine. Ash wants Pikachu to attack, but Brock stops him. He tells Ash that Pikachu's attacks may destroy the Amber Castle. Without anyone stopping them, Team Rocket's Pokémon begin to attack the Combee and the Amber Castle.
The walls of the Amber Castle suddenly begins to crack. The whole place is going to fall apart if nothing is done. Team Rocket begins to steal the honey while they can. Dawn sends out Buneary, who uses Ice Beam to seal up the cracks. Ash is glad because now the castle won't fall apart. Brock explains that the ice is only a temporary fix. The ice will melt soon, and then the whole castle is destroyed. They notice that the Combee are getting even madder. Brock says that they have to permanently fix the cracks. He sends out Sudowoodo and Croagunk. Brock tells his Pokémon to stack up a pile of rocks to stop the flow of the honey. Then Dawn sends out Pachirisu. Pachirisu uses its Sweet Kiss attack on Team Rocket's Pokémon so that they are confused. Team Rocket doesn't care. They have enough honey with them. Team Rocket is about to make their escape, but they are confronted by a swarm of angry Combee. The Combee use their attacks on Team Rocket. Meowth pulls out an umbrella to prevent the attacks from hitting them. Vespiquen is furious with Team Rocket. It uses its Power Gem attack on Team Rocket, blasting them off again.
The Combee begin to repair the cracks by placing the honey on them. The stickiness from the honey will fix up the cracks even if the ice melts. Vespiquen approaches Sherol. It gives Sherol a jar of the enchanted honey. Sherol thanks Vespiquen for the gift. Sherol holds out the jar of honey at Ash and co., and everyone gets a taste. They all love the sweetness of the honey.
Ash and co. have walked out of the Amber Castle. They are now back in the forest. Brock has decided to become a treasure hunter because he wants to be with Sherol forever. However, Sherol spots a Beedrill, which to her means that she travels alone. Sherol then bids a farewell to everyone. Now that the Amber Castle has been discovered, Ash and co. are on their way towards Eterna City. Meanwhile, Team Rocket is being chased by all the forest Pokémon because the Pokémon are attracted to the honey that is on Jessie and James's clothes.
