Description
Pokémon Japan Championships 2017 Qualifying is a tournament that decides the best Pokémon trainers in Japan. The results of this competition will determine who gets to compete as a representative of Japan against the world's best Pokémon trainers at the Pokémon World Championships being held in Anaheim, California, USA in August 2017.

The top 50 players in each category will be invited to participate in the PJCS2017 live event. It is not necessary to participate in all five Master Category schedules to earn the right to participate in the live competition in the Master Category. If a player participates in at least three schedules and plays at least 3 games or more in each schedule, the ranking results will be calculated and published.
