The Pokémon Global Link website has announced another Global Mission for Pokémon Ultra Sun and Pokémon Ultra Moon called "Win at the Battle Agency!". If participating players win a collective 100,000 times at the Battle Agency in Festival Plaza between January 9th, 2018 at 0:00 (UTC) and January 22nd, 2018 at 23:59 (UTC), every participant will receive 2,000 Festival Coins as a reward.

Get Ready to Battle in the Next Global Mission!

Travel to Festival Plaza and prepare for anything in Pokémon Ultra Sun and Pokémon Ultra Moon during the “Win at the Battle Agency!” global mission. The goal is to win as many times as possible at the Battle Agency in Festival Plaza during the mission period! If players win a collective 100,000 times between January 9, 2018, at 0:00 (UTC) and January 22, 2018, at 23:59 (UTC), every participant will receive 2,000 Festival Coins as a reward.

Even if the goal isn’t reached, everyone will get a participation prize of 1,000 Festival Coins. Trainers who registered their game at the Pokémon Global Link by the end of the global mission will receive double the number of Festival Coins—4,000 when the goal is reached, and 2,000 even if it isn’t.

If you haven’t experienced the Battle Agency in Pokémon Ultra Sun or Pokémon Ultra Moon yet, you will need to complete Sophocles’s trial. Then visit Festival Plaza, enter the castle, and talk to the receptionist behind the right-hand table in the back. To start battling, select Challenge.

The Battle Agency tests your Pokémon battling skills when you take on a series of Trainers with a unique condition—you can’t use your own Pokémon! Instead, you rent one of three preselected Pokémon from the Battle Agency for free. Then you’ll be joined by two other Pokémon belonging to guests who have visited your Festival Plaza. It’s a fun and challenging take on the standard Pokémon battle.

How to Participate in Global Missions

Band together with your fellow Trainers in global missions: limited-time events where everyone tries to meet a collective goal. If the goal is met, everyone who participated gets a global mission reward! Don’t worry if the goal isn’t reached—you can count on a global mission participation prize for everyone who chipped in.

Follow these steps to join the global mission:
1. Enter Festival Plaza in Pokémon Ultra Sun or Pokémon Ultra Moon by selecting it in your in-game menu, which you’ll find by pressing the X Button.
2. Enter Festival Plaza’s central castle.
3. Speak to the global mission receptionist on the right and let her know you want to participate in the global mission.
4. Remember to return before the mission ends to sync your game to add to the global count! Once you’ve joined the global mission, talk to the receptionist to have your progress sent to the Pokémon Global Link. Also, if you’ve registered your game to a PGL account, simply connecting to the internet while in Festival Plaza will cause your game to sync automatically, sending your progress to the server.

How to check your progress toward the global goal

Talk to the receptionist to check on the overall progress toward the goal and to update your own progress as well. You can also check on the progress by visiting the home page of the Pokémon Global Link.
