Japanese players of Pokémon Art Academy (ポケモンアートアカデミー) can download a Gengar template from September 13th, 2014 until October 14th, 2014. Players can also participate in a special Pokémon Daisuki Club contest called Actually Scary? Pokémon (本当は怖い?ポケモン) between September 13th, 2014 and October 19th, 2014 where they can submit their Ghost Pokémon drawings onto Miiverse and selected drawings will be showcased on the official site.

Meloetta has been confirmed to be included in the upcoming Super Smash Bros for the Nintendo Wii U. Masahiro Sakurai (桜井政博), Director of the game, announced on Miiverse that all the revealed Pokémon in the Super Smash Bros. Direct Video from April 8th, 2014 will also make an appearance in the game.

This means the following Pokémon are now included in Super Smash Bros: Inkay, Swirlix, Snivy, Oshawott, Suicune. Latias and Lugia were revealed in screenshots in April but are now confirmed for sure as they are also in the trailer.

Remember the video that introduced Greninja joining the battle? Every Pokémon that appeared in that video will make some kind of appearance in Super Smash Bros! By the way, here's one of the Pokémon that didn't make an appearance in that video--Meloetta. Its vocal attacks reflect off land forms, so they'll be especially effective in a closed environment.

Nintendo UK has posted the trailer for Pokémon Art Academy which will be released in the United Kingdom on July 4th, 2014. There will be 40 drawing lessons and players can unlock over 100 images to use as a guide in the Free Draw mode. Players can use the 3DS camera to also capture images to use as a drawing guide and also save their creations on MiiVerse or in JPG format.

A Lumiose City Stage has been confirmed to be included in the upcoming Super Smash Bros for the Nintendo 3DS. Masahiro Sakurai (桜井政博), Director of the game, posted more screenshots of the stage on Miiverse and its shows that the time of day changes throughout the level.

Lucario has been confirmed as a playable character in the upcoming Super Smash Bros for Wii U and Super Smash Bros for Nintendo 3DS games. Masahiro Sakurai (桜井政博), Director of the games, posted on Miiverse that in the upcoming games, they've increased the influence of Aura so a damaged Lucario is truly a force to be reckoned with.
