(ソーナンス! そうなんす? / アニメ「ポケモンBW」放送直前SP、新ポケモン秘蔵VTRを初公開! / 豪華声優陣アフレコ現場に突入 / 湯山監督がスタジオに登場!), aired today in Japan.
This weeks rerun theme was a continuation of last weeks theme titled PokéSun Members Big Success (ポケスンメンバー大活躍!). Sonansu! Is That So? was this weeks repeat episode which features Sonansu. Pikachu is captured in an unbreakable container and Sonansu takes off with the key. Can Satoshi and his friends find Sonansu and the key before its too late?!
With the new anime series Pocket Monsters Best Wishes! (ポケットモンスター ベストウイッシュ) starting later in the week, the episode was dedicated to it. The show started off with a preview clip from the upcoming episodes and Robert cosplayed the main characters from the show. Akiyama dressed up as Satoshi, Baba dressed up as Dent and Yamamoto dressed up as Iris.
Robert went off to Shogakukan Productions (小学館集英社プロダクション), also known as ShoPro. They are the company that distributes the Pocket Monsters anime. They enter the building and come to a door labeled 'Busy' (使用中) but are able to peer through the glass to see a guy sitting at a table with a Tsutarja hat on and another guy with a Mijumaru hat on. Robert figures that they must be the people responsible for working on the new show Best Wishes. It is then revealed that they are: Ryou Sasaki (佐々木亮) and Takemoto Mori (盛武源) the producers of the series and Noriko Sugiyama (杉山典子) who is an animator. Robert walks in and greets them by saying 'PokéMorning!' but the group quickly hides all their work.
Robert asked a few questions about the new series. The Shogakukan staff members responded by telling them that Satoshi will start a new journey in the Isshu region. They then went on to explain the double pun behind Best Wishes. BW stands for Black and White but when the name of the series Best Wishes is written out in romanized form 'besuto uisshu' (ベストウイッシュ), 'Isshu' the name of the region is in the title.
The staff then decided to play a little game with Robert. They put 6 'BW' buns on the table for them to eat. Baba was the first to eat one but ended up getting a Bun made with Wasabi. Obviously he didn't like the taste. Yamamoto went next and he chose the right one and the staff gave them a video clip to watch showing some of the new 5th generation Pokémon in the anime.
Robert then head off to Nakano Broadway, a shopping mall where they spot Rica Matsumoto (松本梨香). She spots Robert dressed up as the characters and quickly attempts to get away. The narrator introduces her as Satoshi's voice actor and a brief clip of the opening theme Best Wishes (ベストウイッシュ) is showcase.
Rica agrees to play a game of Pokémon Strikeout with Akiyama and if he wins, she will give him another video featuring clips from the Best Wishes anime. The game features 9 boxes in a baseball strike zone. Akiyama goes first and states he is aiming for Kibago (キバゴ) but hits Mamepato (マメパト) instead. Rica goes next and states "Pokabu, I choose you!" (ポカブ君の決めた!) but she ends up hitting Koromori (コロモリ). Akiyama second pitch was wild and Rica managed to hit Tsutarja on her second pitch but it wasn't enough to knock the target down to 'catch' it.
Yadon-Akiyama returns for another adventure and this time his is bungie jumping off a platform from 22 metres in the air. The staff member does a 3,2,1 Bungie countdown but Yadon-Akiyama just stands there. It just replies "Ya..." with a nervous laugh. New Pokémon Black and White merchandise was then shown which will be available at the Pokémon Centers.
After the commercial break, Akiyama was pitching again and managed to hit Mijumaru down giving him a 2 captured Pokémon to 1 lead over Rica. Rica then announces she's going after Pokabu again this time but throws a wild pitch giving Akiyama the win. Rica give Robert a video clip which shows more clips from the Best Wishes anime. The Best Wishes voice actors also introduced themselves to the audience. Iris's voice actress is Aoi Yūki (悠木 碧) and Dent's voice actor is Mamoru Miyano (宮野真守). They showed a few brief scenes of them recording their characters in the studio. Mamoru Miyano revealed that Dent has a Yanappu and repeated Dent's catch phrase 'It's tasting time!' numerous times.

The show will also feature new cast members apart from the returning Pokémon Sunday cast members. Choi Hong-Man (チェ・ホンマン) is a South Korean kickboxer and mixed martial artist. He is very tall at 7'2" and he towers over the rest of the cast as the press conference pictures show. 17 year old Misaki Momose (桃瀬美咲) in the yellow shirt, 11 year old Hana Watt (ハナ・ワット) in the red shirt, and 11 year old Maria Israel Cialdini (マリアイスラエル・チャルディーニ) in the green are the three girls.
The show will keep the same variety show nature that Pokémon Sunday did by featuring the games, anime, movies as well as announce new information about the Pokémon franchise. A new set featuring 5th Generation Pokémon has been created and the show will air in widescreen and in high definition.
The series has been added to the episode guide. Episode information will be added as it becomes available.

The official TV Tokyo summary for the 310th episode of Pokémon Sunday has confirmed the rumour that the series will end on September 26th, 2010. Pokémon Sunday (ポケモン☆サンデー) is a Japanese variety show that debuted October 3rd, 2004. Most of the cast has stayed the same throughout the series but the notable departure of Becky (ベッキー) in 2006 and the addition of Shoko-tan (中川翔子) was the only major cast change during the series 6 year run.
The series final episode: PokéSun Series Finale - A Release of Famous Scenes, Strange Scenes and Treasured Clips All in One Go! / The PokéSun Company Disbands!?? (ポケサン最終回、名場面・珍場面・秘蔵映像を一挙放出! / ポケサンカンパニーも解散!??), will review highlights from the series and reveal what is happening to the PokéSun Company members.
A new series titled Pokémon Smash has shown up in Japanese TV guides for Sunday October 3rd, 2010. The new series will probably be Pokémon Sunday's replacement as Shoko Nakagawa (中川翔子) had confirmed on her blog that she will be a host.

A preview for the special was posted on the official TV Tokyo YouTube page last week and that same preview aired on the show today but without the new cat Pokémon that was revealed in the original trailer. Yamamoto chose the Kanji option.
