| Diamond and Pearl is the tenth dub opening and is sung by "Breeze" Barczynski. The opening features clips from the Japanese opening 'Together'. The opening debuted on the first episode of the Pokémon Diamond and Pearl series 'Following a Maiden's Voyage'. The opening begins with the Pokémon Diamond and Pearl logo appearing in the center of the screen and it Ash and Pikachu are at the top of a large tree as they look around at all the flying Pokémon around them. The shot zooms out as it shows Brock is half way up the same tree and he is looking at the sky as well. Paul and his Sinnoh starter Pokémon are seen facing off against Ash and his Sinnoh starter Pokémon. It transitions to Dawn in a contest dress as she throws two Poké balls into the air and release Piplup and Bunery. Ash is seen battling Roark for his first Sinnoh badge and it then changes to Palkia and Dialga on some cliffs with a Lucario looking up at them. Tracey, Professor Oak, Delia, Mr. Mime get a brief cameo shot together followed by Johanna and Professor Rowan and finally Nurse Joy and Officer Jenny. The final shot is a region map of Sinnoh with a Poké ball in the foreground with Ash, Pikachu and Brock sitting on top of the Poké ball and Dawn leaning against it. Close ups of Ash and Pikachu smiling finish the opening off. |
