| The second variant of ~Battle Cry~ (Stand Up!) began airing when the animated series transitioned into widescreen and high definition in the episode 'The Lonely Snover!'. The clips from the dub opening are mainly from the Japanese opening High Touch! The opening begins with the Pokémon DP Galactic Battles logo appearing in space. Ash, Dawn, Brock, Pikachu and Piplup are seen running together on some grass until the camera rotates around to Hikari and it transitions to them in a boat with their current Pokémon parties. Throughout the Japanese series, the Pokémon in the boat with the main characters changes as they evolve. Ash gives a thumbs up as it changes to Ash, Dawn, Brock, Pikachu and Piplup standing on a beach as they watch the sun in the distance. Professor Oak, Delia, Tracey, Max and May have cameo appearances together in one shot as the camera pans by each of them in turn. Ash's current party are shown as Buizel uses Aqua Jet and fly's towards the screen. Regigigas and Darkrai are battling in the next segment as Team Rocket is seen blasting off with their Pokémon right after, followed by Team Galaxy and Pokémon Hunter J. Another main character Pokémon party segment follows as the Pokémon are grouped in pairs. The final shot features the main characters holding a Poké ball as the pose standing up. |
