| "Ready Go!" is the 5th opening theme of the animated series and the final opening of the original series. The opening begins with "This story is about a boy, Satoshi and Pocket Monsters and their friendship and adventures and their meetings." (この物語は 少年サトシと ポケットモンスター との 友情と冒険の お話である。) is displayed in a large font that fills most of the screen. A door featuring many legendary Pokémon begins to fade in as the Pocket Monsters logo also materializes. The logo zooms forward and the CGI doors begin to open. Satoshi, Kasumi holding Togepi, Pikachu, and Takeshi are seen running through a field as it focuses on Satoshi as Pikachu jumps on his shoulder. Joy, Junsa, Professor Okido, Hanako, Professor Utsugi and Kenji each appear with a sky as a backdrop. It quickly transitions to Rocket Gang running from Delibird. Satoshi is then seen holding Yogiras as they are both smiling as they turn around to see the rest of Satoshi's Pokémon running and flying towards them. Mew and Mewtwo fly around in space during the next scene and then transitions back to the planet with Ho-Oh, Entei, Raikou and Suicune. The legendary flying birds are then seen, followed by Lugia and Celebi. The whole scene finishes off with Satoshi holding a Poké ball and all the legendary Pokémon posing nears some cliffs. Satoshi and his friends are then seen camping out at night near a river and waterfall as Yogiras looks up at a quarter-moon while a flock of Kamonegi fly by. It transitions back to Satoshi lying down in a field during a torrential downpour as his friends look on in disappointment. Satoshi and Pikachu are then seen above a Pokémon Stadium looking down at it from a hill. His rivals slows scroll by as the song ends with Satoshi's Pokémon battling a bunch of other Pokémon in the stadium. |
