| We Will Carry On! is opening used in the English dub of Pokémon Diamond & Pearl: Sinnoh League Victors. The opening started airing during Regaining the Home Advantage!. It is based off the Japanese Diamond and Pearl opening "The Greatest Everyday". The first scene features Ash in an empty stadium with Paul as he throws his Poké ball to release his newly evolved Infernape as it jumps into the air as it avoids a Flamethrower from Entei. Satoshi's Buoysel appears as the Flamethrower clears and it battles against a Darkrai. Brock turns around and looks into the sky as Latios, Latias, Fire, Freezer and Thunder soar by him. Ash and all his Pokémon as well as Dawn and all her Pokémon also look up into the sky at the legendary flying Pokémon fly by them as well. Dawn's rivals are shown with the Grand Festival cup in the background. Team Rocket appear floating in space without a spacesuit or ship as Mew, Mewtwo, Rayquaza and Deoxys float by them. As Deoxys flies by, it transitions to Ho-oh in the sky below with Ash and Pikachu running after it. Groudon, Kyogre, and Lugia appear battling in the water as it transitions to Dialga, Palkia, Giratina and Arceus in the clouds as a bright light appears behind them. The final scene has Ash and his Pokémon in a stadium as it pans out to show his rivals on the other side of the battlefield. |
