#PocketMonsters Chatroom Rules

1. #PocketMonsters is a Pokemon chatroom, not a file leeching room. Do not request files.
2. The OPs (the people with the "@","~" and "&" by their names) are the final interpreters of the rule and clarifications.
3. Conduct yourself in a mature, respectful and courteous manner. Don't be annoying.
4. Please limit your use of profanity.
5. The official language for the channel is English. If you speak and/or type English, please do so in the channel. Japanese is used in the channel on occasion, but please limit most conversations to English.
6. No whining about channel policies.
7. No insults, being rude, name-calling, starting fights, or general picking on people.
8. No trolling will be tolerated.
9. No racism or bigotry will be tolerated.
10. No bashing people's religion-of-choice -- freedom of religion means ANY religion (including none at all).
11. Please keep sex talk to a minimum. This is a Pokemon chat channel.
12. No ban evasion or other circumventions of rules.
13. No offensive nicks. If an op asks you to change your nick, then it's considered offensive.
14. No telling the Ops how to do their jobs.
15. Channel takeover attempts, flooding, bot cloning, and other things generally frowned upon in the *sensible* IRC world are also not allowed here.
16. DO NOT TYPE IN ALL CAPS, IT'S ANNOYING AND THE EQUIVALENT OF SHOUTING. You will be kicked for doing so.
17. No Spamming/Flooding - We define flooding as 6 or more messages in 5 seconds. We also consider messages with no content/meaning spam.
18. No begging for OPS/ADMIN - If you ask to become a channel operator, you WILL be kicked. If you really want to become an OP, you must prove to us over an extended period of time that you are responsible and reliable. Otherwise, DON'T EVEN ASK!
19. No excessive Name Changes - Once you enter the IRC channel with one nick, please stick with that nick for the remainder of your time in the channel (unless it's absolutely necessary).
20. IRC COMMANDS/COLORS - Please limit your usage of colors and other IRC specific commands (including bold, underline and reverse codes).
21. When chatting about episode spoilers, please use the following format when posting a message: Spoiler [Ctrl+k]1,1 . This allows users that have seen the current episode to chat and not spoil it for those that have not.
22. No unauthorized scripts. All channel scripts must be approved by an operator.
23. No clones unless you are a Voiced user. Voiced users are required to have an active file server at all times.
24. No Romaji Debates! All forms of Romaji are allowed and correct! (And no, this will not degrade to Animal Farm...)
25. Please read the channel topic. The channel topic usually changes daily.
26. Pocket Monsters/Pokemon ROMS, Music, Videos or ISO's are not hosted. Do not ask for these or link to them. Also, do not use !list/@find/xdcc list to search for them.
27. Posting channel logs without permission is against channel rules.
28. Don't complain. If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all. Users that are annoying and complain will be banned.
