You can now 'tag' images of characters on the imageboard, similar to the facebook concept of tagging friends in images. If an image is posted, you'll notice a "Tag Characters" link, just click that and it should be self-explanatory from there. Have fun!

Some of them are probably sitting on the old server (remember, this one was mirrored a few days ago, so anything between then and the DNS switch over will be missing). I can probably log back in and transfer some of them.

Hmm that's a hard one. Takeshi is probably my favorite human character, mostly since he's so bizarre. We all know who may favorite non-human character is.
