Re: Re: BW 67: ダブルバトル!ピカチュウ・ワルビルVSペンドラー・ガマゲロゲ!!
I really liked this episode, and as I suspected, it was quite surprising! The most surprising of all was Satoshi getting the Waruvile. For some reason, I believed they would keep it as a wild Pokémon that would make regular appearances in the show, and develop a special relationship with Saotshi and co, and especially Pikachu. Then again, that Waruvile is just the kind of unique Pokémon, with some traits that are characteristic of Satoshi's Pokémon. A
Anyway, I'm glad Satoshi caught it nonetheless, if that means we'll see it more often from now on! (I wonder if the writer decided to change the plot due to some potentially good feedback and input from fans). And Waruvile (and its pre-evolution and evolution are some of my favorite Gen V Pokémon). But man, Satoshi sure had caught a lot of Pokémon during this series! I'm really looking forward to this series' League, where we'll get a good picture of all the Pokémon he'll have caught by then! There was a lot of funny scenes in this episodes (like the one with the sunglasses that Takeshi mentioned earlier), and overall, it felt like a really refreshing and interesting episode (it has been a while since we've had such an enjoyable episode). However, the next episode looks... kinda weird. Looks like a proper filler episode, but I hope the humour won't be too much over-the-top, what with the afro haircuts and all. |

Re: Re: BW 66: 黒き英雄の遺跡!シンボラーとデスカーン!!/Kuroki eiyū no iseki! Symboler to Deathkarn!!
This episode was not as interesting as I thought it would be. The whole mythology thing was not as interesting as I expected either, for some reason. I'm always quite interested by anything regarding legendary Pokémon mythology, but simple drawings on a wall just didn't cut it for me, I guess.
That being said, I wouldn't call this episode a disappointment, far from that. I really like 'Papa' and his odd behaviour, and there was some pretty fun moments (like when 'Papa' steals the orb, that sneaky dude!). I was quite surprised at seeing the Deathkarn walk on their 'legs', or them "mumyfying" human beings... The next episode looks real great, Waruvile's finally back! But I certainly wasn't expecting it to battle alongside Pikachu... guess this episode will be full of surprises! This post was lasted edited on 13 Feb 2012 8:36:00AM by Chance

A really great episode, full of surprises... like that Satoshi/Dent vs The ProfBel tag battle! And I was even more surprised and pleased to see Dent won in the end! I was really expecting Chevargo to win, since the episode was almost entirely focused on him.
We really need more tag battles with Saotshi and Dent, I just can't get enough of them... And this one was really great! One thing that slightly disappointed me in this episode is that they didn't even bother explaining the evolution process at all. I knew they wouldn't have given us a very detailed explanation, but I wasn't expecting the episode to NOT be focused around the evolution process. Other than this small detail, it was still a great episode, and it looks like the next one is going to be as great, if not even better. I doubt we'll get to see Zekrom in it, though! |

Re: Re: Pokémon Pikachu Press Begins Publishing
I believe it's a bit too early to draw any conclusions... even though it does not look really good for Viz. Let's just hope, for TPCi, don't get anymore promotional videos and trailers blocked by FailPro :p
Let's just hope this means more constant releases for US Pokémon fans. |

A pretty decent episode, which could have been better in my opinion.
I was glad the Rocket Gang's plan did not fail as miserably as it did a couple of episodes ago, I was starting not to take them seriously once again... and they're supposed one of the two main villains in this series! I wish they had gotten away with the whole cargo, would have spiced things up a bit! About Ishizumai's evolution, I found it a tad underwhelming (even if the Pokémon looks great). I was expecting it to evolve after a decent fight, not just by resisting a single attack. At least, there's some focus on Dent's Pokémon! I was also surprised (and pleased) to have Bel back in this episode... I'm very fond of her and her rather clumsy behaviour. I'm quite excited about next week's episode. I'm curious to see how they'll explain the evolution. |

Re: Re: JOHTO 32: Upah ga Ippai!/ウパーがいっぱい!/No Big Woop
Well, I never realised that's the first episode where Sonansu started to pop out of his Pokéball on its own... he's done it so many times (in fact, in pretty much every single episode till they got rid of all Rocket Gang Pokémon at the start of Best Wishes)!
Anyway, this was a rather OK episode. Nothing too fancy, and with the usual flaws of the typical filler episode from the previous series. Like, for example... A Hospital only for Upahs? Isn't that..; a bit too much? Don't tell me there exists a special place for every single Pokémon?! Nothing very special about this episode. |

Re: Re: Nintendo Zone Adds Pokémon Episodes and Game Demos
I don't believe there's any Nintendo Zone location near where I live... hum.
Personally, I'd rather have the episodes available through an app similar to Nintendo Video and Eurosports. Then again, there's 0 chance at all that the episode would be the Japanese one with subtitles, and since I just can't stand any dub anymore, I think I'll just have to pass : / But it's still a very nice initiative from Nintendo. I hope this won't end after a few weeks, and get regular updates. |

I agree. And it's not like TPC and Nintendo are small comapnies who doesn't have the ressources to release something so small simultaneously worldwide.

Seen on ONM:
"While everyone wants a new Pokemon game for DS or 3DS, Namco Bandai has announced a new Pokemon arcade game for Japan called Pokemon Medal World.
Pokemon Medal World is a medal game, a Japanese type of arcade game. So you trade money for medals which can then be inserted into the machine and fired.
What actually happens after that is unclear but four players can play together and videos will play on the screen in the background.
The images show various Pokemon including Pokemon Black and White starters Tepig, Oshawott and Snivy plus oldies like Pikachu."
