May is a Pokémon Coordinator from Petalburg City. Starting off her journey, May did not like Pokémon very much. She originally wanted to be a Pokémon Trainer so she could travel and see the world. On the day she got her starter Pokémon, Torchic, May met Ash and like Misty was impressed by Ash's personality. She traveled with Ash, her brother Max and Brock until she decided to part ways an compete in the Johto region.
Having decided to focus on being a Pokémon Coordinator instead of a Pokémon Trainer, May experience great success during the many Contests she entered. She has competed in the Kanto and Houen Grand Festivals as well as the Wallace Cup where she reached the finals only to loose to Dawn.
May is also popular with the fanboys for her well endowed feminine body features. She isn't shy about showing off her body as well by posing in her various swimming attire.

May explained that her Eevee had evolved into a Glaceon by coming into contact with the Ice Rock near Snowpoint City.
May's Blaziken evolved from May's Combusken when Team Rocket was attempting to steal Pikachu during the break at a Pokémon Contest.Just after it evolved it learned Blaze Kick and used it to blast Team Rocket away.May was happy and amazed that her Blaziken defeated Team Rocket and had learned Blaze Kick at the same time. May caught Munchlax after she found out that it liked the Pokeblocks that she had made.
May's Venusaur was seen defeating a Marill for May in the second battle round of the Wallace Cup.
Skitty had wandered in the desert and it lost its sense of smell. Brock suggested they take it to a Pokémon Aromatherapy Center where it recovered after it was sprayed with some medicine.
May and Jessie both caught Wurmples and they were temporarily switched but they were eventually returned.
