Biography
Lawrence III attempted to capture this Lugia for his collection as he caused a conflict between the Legendary birds Moltres, Zapdos and Articuno to draw it out of the ocean. Lugia proved to be a strong Pokémon and with the help of Ash and his friends, they were able to stop Lawrence III from capturing it. Lugia can also talk and communicate with humans and it became friends with Ash as well.
Lugia helped Ash bring the final treasure back to the shrine but as Lawrence tried to capture it, Lugia fell into the ocean. Melody played the ocarina at the at the shrine which helped Lugia recover.
Lugia destroyed Lawrence III airship and then returned to the sea as the conflict between the Legendary Birds Moltres, Zapdos and Articuno was resolved.
