Title めざせポケモンマスター (Whiteberryバージョン)
Aim to Be a Pokémon Master (Whiteberry Versions)
Song めざせポケモンマスター

The forth opening to the Japanese series, Aim to Be a Pokémon Master (めざせポケモンマスター) is the exact same song as the first opening to the series. For this version of the song, it is sung by Whiteberry.

It starts of with Satoshi holding a Poké ball and then releasing towards the viewers as it disappears into the distance and the Pocket Monsters (ポケットモンスター) logo materializes. An English translation of Pocket Monsters rolls in underneath.

The intro then transitions to a Bangiras battling Satoshi and Pikachu in a stadium as Pikachu jumps into the air and begins to use Thunderbolt.

The next scene shows Satoshi and Pikachu jumping into the air and Kasumi and Takeshi also jump up beside him and the land in the water. Many water Pokémon including Lugia are seen during the few moments the opening spends underwater.

The opening once again transitions to Satoshi holding a Poké ball. Satoshi and Pikachu are then running in a field with Ho-Oh flying over top of them.

Another filled Pokémon stadium is shown as Satoshi is semi transparent on the left side of the screen while his current roster of Pokémon is displayed in thin strips as they ascend vertically up the screen.

The legendary Pokémon Entei, Raikou, Suicune and Celebi are seen up on top of the mountains using their attacks as it quickly changes to Mewtwo on top of a pole in a city as Mew fly's by in the distance.

Satoshi and his friends are then seen traveling through a cave with Satoshi holding a lanturn. His friends are once again seen all on a bridge in a town as the Pichu bros run across a pipe below them. Rocket Gang makes a brief appearance chasing Satoshi and his friends until a giant Togepi shows up.

The final scene of the opening shows Satoshi and Pikachu climbing up a white glowing staircase in outerspace towards a large Colosseum ruins with a large flame at the top. They arrive to see a bunch of Pokémon inside the Colosseum. The opening ends with Satoshi, his Pokémon, Misty and Togepi and Takeshi posing together.
