I was quite surprised that they gave such obvious foreshadowing and spoilers during the opening. It got me excited for the confirmation of both of Satoshi`s starter`s evolving to their final stage, which has never happened before, and it was completely unexpected for Hikari to get Togekiss, but still, I was surprised. Great opening. As for the episode, I found the pairing of Metagross and Jibacoil in battle to be interesting, based on them having so many similarities. They basically "destroyed" each other throughout the episode, with Metagross physcially throwing (with it`s arm, which it usually has to fold to levitate) into the ground. Fun episode.

Added an episode comparison I did for the Japanese and English Versions. Interesting how they didn't even bother fixing the double Pikachu's months after it aired in Japan.

Episode Highlights:
- On the way to Asatsuki Town, Satoshi, Hikari and Takeshi reach a relatively big city, which is being destroyed by the rampage of two wild Pokémon; a Jibacoil and a Metagross.
- Satoshi and his friends decide to use their Pokémon in order to stop the fight between these two wild Pokémon, but fail, as Jibacoil and Metagross turn out to be stronger than Moukazaru, Manmoo and Pinpuku.
- Takeshi comes up with a plan which involves using Pikachu's and Pachirisu's electric attacks to lure Jibacoil and Metagross out of the city and back to the mountains they live in.
- On their way to the mountains, though, they get ambushed by Rocket Gang. Takeshi then suggests that Nyarth talks to Jibacoil and Metagross in order to find out what the problem is. Nyarth agrees to, because as Musashi points out to him and Kojiro, this could be the perfect way to snatch both Jibacoil and Metagross and use them to their advantage. The plan fails though, as Nyarth is unable to understand what the wild Pokémon are saying, and Rocket Gang blasts off.
- Satoshi and the others, seeing as the alternative plan failed, go back to their first plan and continue to lead Jibacoil and Metagross back to the mountains.
- On the way there, they meet Katsuzo, a mountain guardian that patrols the mountains Jibacoil and Metagross live in.
- Katsuzo leads them to the mountain basin Jibacoil and Metagross used to battle in and our heroes assist him in ridding it of the water it had gathered, thus stopping the wild Pokémon's rampage.

Character Bios written:
- Katsuzo: Katsuzo is the mountain guardian that patrols the mountains Jibacoil and Metagross live in. Satoshi and co. along with the nearby city's Junsa met him while they were luring Jibacoil and Metagross away from the city and back to the mountains. Katsuzo told them that he had been looking everywhere for the wild Pokémon.

After leading Satoshi, Hikari, Takeshi and Junsa to the mountain basin where Jibacoil and Metagross engage in battles, he explained to them that there is magnetism everywhere in the mountains and that strange magnetic forces are often emitted. Whenever there's such an emission, the bodies of Jibacoil and Metagross fill with that magnetic force, and the two Pokémon fight each other in order to get rid of the excessive magnetism. After the basin got filled with water, though, the Steel-type Pokémon went missing and Katsuzo went to look for them. He was really shocked to hear that the two Pokémon had started rampaging in the city, and, in order to prevent that from happening again, he went to search for the reason behind the flooding of the basin, along with Satoshi, his friends and Junsa.

After a brief search, they found out that a rock had been blocking a nearby river's flow, thus acting as a dam and leading the water to the basin instead. In order to prevent more water from flowing to the basin, Katsuzo said that they had to remove the rock. Rocket Gang then showed up and tried to remove it using their balloon's enhancements, but their attempt failed. Eventually, the rock was broken into pieces by a powerful Brick Break attack coming from Takeshi's Gureggru, and the river flow returned to normal.

As the river flow had returned to normal, which would hinder more water from ending up at the Steel-type Pokémon's battling spot, the only thing that was left to do was to get rid of the water that was still in the basin. With the help of Hikari's Mimirol and Takeshi's Pinpuku, Katsuzo, Satoshi and his friends managed to return the place to its former condition, thus bringing the wild Pokémon's rampage to an end.
