Hikari! I like Kasumi/Haruka/Iris a lot, but Hikari is by far my favorite heroine. I can't wait to see her back even if only for an episode.

I was really glad to see Hikari back, even if it was just for one single episode... and even if that that episode wasn't that special.
There was some nice music, though it sometimes felt a bit... forced.

Too bad there's no contests in Unova, it would have been nice if she could've appeared as a guest characters in a few Best Wishes episodes. Well, at least I just hope she won't fall into oblivion, unlike certain characters from past series I won't name...

The special definitely was needed after the quick end to the actual DP series. It was good that we got some more background about Hikari and that she is off to Houen. Hopefully this isn't the last special with her in it.

That's right, DP ended up quite abruptly... I'm even wondering whether this special wasn't supposed to air before Best Wishes, but rather they decided to change their plans a few weeks before the game's release.

Not that they already had the episodes ready, exactly as they aired last week, but rather they cut that part of the story... that would explain why Takeshi got such a weak and underwhelming goodbye scene in DP's last episode.

I don't believe Dawn will be seen again. Now that the Contests have been completely cut out of the series, its highly unlikely to see her again. Also since she is in Hoenn, she's already been written off to a different region.

I don't think we'll see anything of Dawn's Hoenn journey.
