The official Japanese Pokémon website has announced that the scheduled launch celebration for Pocket Monsters Sword and Shield which was to be held at Sunshine City Fountain Square in Ikebukuro, Tokyo, Japan on November 15th, 2019 has been canceled due to operational reasons. The Pokémon Company apologized for any inconvenience caused to customers who were planning to visit or considering to visit the event.
