EB Games Canada has announced that they will be holding a Pokémon Play and Trade Event at participating locations on November 2nd, 2019. Those that bring a friend to the event and learn about the Pokémon Trading Card game can get a free Trade and Play Day Kit while supplies last. Card trading is intended for children under 16. All trades should be done fairly.

We contacted the Pokémon Company International about the distribution being limited to those under 16 years of ages. Below is their official response:

Thank you for reaching out to us. While the event is geared towards those that are 15 years and younger, it would be up to the store if they provided you with a trainer kit. Unfortunately beyond that information, we are unable to provide specific directives and do leave it up to the individual store and EB games.
