The Pokémon Company International announces Pokémon: Kids Winter Fest, a fun-filled website for younger Pokémon fans

Today, The Pokémon Company International launched Pokémon: Kids Winter Fest, a new website designed for younger Trainers. From December 1, 2020, at 6 a.m. PT until January 3, 2021, at 3:59 p.m. PT, aspiring Pokémon Trainers will be able to access a variety of free to-play minigames and activities and to test their Pokémon knowledge on mobile devices, tablets, and computers that have a web browser.

The main objective in Pokémon: Kids Winter Fest is to earn Razz Berries. Once players earn a certain number of Razz Berries during a game, they will be awarded a badge pouch containing Pokémon badges to add to their collection. There are over 890 Pokémon badges to collect! Razz Berries collected by players are also added to their team’s daily total, which will add to their progress in the team races. The first team to cross a race checkpoint will be awarded an in-game item.

Players can also earn extra Razz Berries and Pokémon badges by reaching milestones in the team races, using the daily rewards wheel, or collecting special daily rewards. They can even collect Legendary Pokémon badges when obtaining Legendary pouches, and Mythical Pokémon badges by completing the daily Mythical missions!

Pokémon: Kids Winter Fest features the following minigames and activities:

Battle Dunk
Tapping with their mouse or fingers to aim and release their selected Pokémon, players will need to knock as many enemy Pokémon out of the arena as they can without running out of energy. But be very careful—the other Pokémon are also trying to knock you out of the arena!

Pair Up
In a quickfire matching game, players will have 60 seconds to test their Pokémon knowledge and find the matching cards as quickly as possible for the best score. This game has four levels of difficulty: match all of the same Pokémon together, match each Pokémon with its Evolution, match each Pokémon with a card showing its correct type, or match each Pokémon with a card showing a type that it is weak against!

Relay Ridge
In this obstacle course, players will need to get as far as they can by safely moving Pokémon along the top of the cliff without falling off or hitting too many obstacles. When reaching checkpoints, Pokémon will automatically swap, their health will be restored, and Razz Berries will be rewarded.

Snow Holes
A group of Diglett is causing chaos in the snow fields and threatening to break the ice! Players will need to get rid of them by tapping as quickly as possible. Dugtrio might even make an appearance for a bonus round!

Waterfall Crossing
In this minigame, players will need to help Pokémon cross the river safely, by bouncing them across on their raft using their mouse or fingers. But they must also watch out for Jigglypuff! This Pokémon will make the players’ Pokémon fall asleep, and players will need to spend precious time waking them up!

Winter Fest Scene Creator
This corner of Pokémon: Kids Winter Fest will give Trainers a platform to express their creativity by putting together their very own Winter Fest scene filled with Pokémon. A range of characters, backgrounds and items are available to be added to the picture, creating fun and wintry scenes.
