Niantic has announced that a Limited Research featuring Sneasel will take place on Saturday, January 30th, 2021, from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. local time in Pokémon GO! Plus, a new Timed Research will take place from Tuesday, January 26th, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. to Sunday, February 7th, 2021, at 8:00 p.m. local time.

On Saturday, January 30, 2021, from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. local time, you can complete event-exclusive Field Research tasks that lead to encounters with Sneasel. If you’re lucky, you might even encounter a Shiny Sneasel! You can also look forward to event-exclusive Timed Research.

New Timed Research
From Tuesday, January 26, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. to Sunday, February 7, 2021, at 8:00 p.m. local time, you can complete a Team GO Rocket–themed Timed Research line that’ll lead to an encounter with a Ho-Oh that knows Earthquake. Good luck in completing this research challenge, Trainers!
