Episode PictureThe latest episode of Pokémon Sunday, Takeshi! Save Nibi Gym! / Robert Experience Poképark Attractions / Professor Red Makes his Appearance in a Television Viewer Battle! (タケシ!ニビジムをすくえ! ロバートがポケパークのアトラクションを体験 視聴者バトルにレッド博士が登場!), aired today in Japan.

The anime rerun episode for this week was a special side story episode featuring Takeshi returning to Nibi Gym to face his mother who had taken over the gym.

In today's episode of Pokemon Sunday, Robert all dressed up as Pikachu to commemorate and act out parts of the newly released Nintendo Wii game PokéPark Wii Pikachu's Great Adventure (ポケパークWii ピカチュウの大冒険). The show covered some of the events that take place during the first to attraction stages of the game.

Hori, the voice actor of Perap (ペラップ) from Pokémon Ranger and the Prince of the Sea: Manaphy (ポケモンレンジャーと蒼海の王子 マナフィ) played the part of Hori Perap (ホリペラップ) during this show. In the game Perap instructs players during the tutorial and in the show Hori Perap instructed Robert how to do things.

The first task was assigned to Yamamoto Pikachu, which required him to bash into a box to obtain the object inside. Yamamoto ran as fast as he could into the box only to find that it was filled with flour which covered him completely.

The second task once again featured Yamamoto Pikachu and it featured on of the Trial of Strength (ちからくらべ) modes "Wild Goose" (おいかけっこ) which requires the Pokémon to chase and touch the other Pokémon, like a game of tag. Yamamoto Pikachu ran around the park chasing Hori Perap as fast as he could until he finally managed to tag him.

Robert's next task was to compete in the Fushigidane's Foot Race (フシギダネのふりふりダッシュ) attraction. They played the game previously on the Wii to get a feel for how the game worked. Once again Yamamoto Pikachu was up for the challenge as Baba and Akiyama watched. Other people were dressed up as Pokémon and as the race started Yamamoto Pikachu went down on all fours. He was trying to beat a target time of 10 seconds but on his first attempt he got 12.91 seconds. On his second attempt he was a lot faster and beat the target time with a time of 6.69 seconds.

Before players can attempt the Fushigibana's Rope Swinging (フシギバナのスイングロープ) attraction they encounter a Gureggru outside the gates. Similar to the game, Robert encounter a Gureggru that challenges them to a Trial of Strength Battle. Akiyama Pikachu was the first to challenge Gureggru who threw water balloons at him as they tried to get close to it by walking on a balance walkway. Akiyama was unable to defeat Gureggru and fell off the balance walkway. Baba Pikachu was next but he too was unable to defeat Gureggru. Finally it was up to Yamamoto Pikachu who managed to get close enough to use his Thunderbolt to defeat Gureggru.

During the Pokémon game arena, Professor Red battled a young television viewer and was defeated. For winning, the kid got to pick one of Professor Red's Pokémon to be traded. Professor Red's had to trade his Dialga for the kids Scyther.

Throughout the show, Robert tried to imitate Pikachu's moves on the loading screen, the blue screen with Pikachu, as best as they could with varying results of success. Each of them took turns attempting to do so.
