Details about the Mewtwo Strikes Back Evolution (극장판 포켓몬스터 뮤츠의 역습 EVOLUTION) event Pokémon distributions were also announced during the stream. The movie which premieres in South Korea on September 30th, 2020 will have 2 serial codes. Players of Pokémon Let's Go, Pikachu! and Let's, Go, Eevee! can get a level 70 Mewtwo that knows the moves Psychic, Shadow Ball, Barrier and Calm Mind. The official Pokémon website has announced the full details for the Shiny Toxtricity Event Pokémon distribution. Players in the United States, Canada and Australia can visit participating GameStop or EB Games stores to get a serial code via the Pokémon Pass app from February 19th, 2021 until March 18th, 2021.

The Pokémon Company announced that they will be hosting a virtual music concert celebrating its 25th anniversary featuring Post Malone. They will also distribute a special password on February 25th, 2021 for players of the Pokémon video game franchise to add a special Pikachu to their Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield games. The concert will be free to view on the official Pokémon YouTube channel, Pokémon’s official Twitch channel, and on Pokémon’s 25th anniversary website beginning at 7:00 p.m. EST / 4:00 p.m. PST on February 27.
