Rene is a Grand Prix performer that debuted when she was 15. She is Kamina's idol and Kamina dreamed that when she got older and turned 15, that she'd compete in the Grand Prix just like Rene did. When Rene was younger, she came upon Tyltto in the forest and listened to it sing. She gave it a ribbon with a Mega Stone and waved goodbye to it.

Many years later, she spotted Kamina's Tyltalis wearing the ribbon with Kamina and she gave Kamina a Key Stone necklace as she was glad the Tyltto had finally found a partner. Kamina didn't know it was Rene that had gave her the necklace as she had sunglasses on.
