Starting on Friday, November 15th, 2019 at Pokémon Centers and Pokémon Stores nationwide in Japan, players of Pokémon Sword or Shield can take their Switch and their game to a store daily to get a present that can be used in their Pokémon Camp recipes. There are 6 types of presents including: Berries, Eggs, Bananas as well as a secret item.

What is "Pokémon Camp"?
In the Galar region, you can enjoy "Pokémon Camp" anytime, anywhere. You can have a good time by interacting with your Pokémon and can cook and eat.

What is "curry rice"?
Curry is a mysterious dish that is very popular in the Galar region. You can create many different varieties by selecting specific ingredients and let them simmer in a pot. Cook a lot and try to complete the curry book!

The Pokémon Centers in Japan have announced that they have renewed the Pokémon Center Birthday Event Pokémon but this time people will need to have a copy of Pokémon Sword or Shield to get a serial code for either Pikachu or Eievui. One event Pokémon gift will be given for each birthday even if you have more than one game. People will also receive a Birthday Crown, a Birthday Card and a coupon for 5% off their order. The distribution starts on November 15th, 2019 and players can get their birthday gifts on their birthday.

A new limited-time Pokémon Secret Club members only item is available to club members to celebrate that 150,000 people have pre-ordered the games and have joined the club. To commemorate this, all members of the Pokémon Secret Club will receive a serial code that will allow them to receive a Pokémon Quest Kakukoro T-Shirt that can be used in Pokémon Sword and Shield. Club members can get the serial code from November 1st, 2019 until January 31st, 2020. The code can used from November 15th, 2019 until February, 3rd, 2020.

Pokémon Masters - Chapters 19 to 21 / Main Story Support Missions / New Training Course Difficulty

DeNA has announced that Chapters 19 to 21 of Pokémon Masters as well as Interlude 3 will be added to the game in an update on November 6th, 2019. In addition, there is a Main Story Support Missions event that gives players rewards for completing certain missions.

Auckland Armageddon 2019 takes place from October 25th, 2019 until October 28th, 2019 at the ASB Showgrounds in Auckland, New Zealand. Nintendo will have a booth at Auckland Armageddon where visitors will be able to play a hands-on demo of Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield. Nintendo also has a poll on their official site where people can select their favorite partner Pokémon from the new games and can show their selection to a Nintendo staff member at the PAX AUS booth to get a free pin while supplies last.

A Grass-Type Training Event will take place in Pokémon Masters from October 23rd, 2019 until November 6th, 2019. During the event period, you can take on special missions and can also strengthen your Grass types!

Grass-Type Training Event under way! Strengthen your Grass types!

The Grass-Type Training Event is the perfect chance to strengthen your Grass-type sync pairs! This event features the co-op boss Marlon, who is weak against Grass types. Train your Grass-type sync pairs to take on the boss!

Defeating the boss earns you all sorts of rewards that’ll help you strengthen your sync pairs.

About Training Events:

  • There are two types of training events: single-player and co-op.
  • You can earn rewards by completing either type.

Important:

  • To participate, you must have completed chapter 5 of the main story.
  • The sync pairs that appear as opponents in battle have different capabilities than those you can actually obtain.
  • The event period and its content are subject to change without notice.
  • When the exchange period for the vouchers obtained in this event ends, leftover vouchers will be converted into coins (10 coins per voucher) and sent to your Present Box.
