screenshotThe official English site for the upcoming Nintendo DS game Pokemon Platinum Version was opened earlier today. The site includes information, screenshots, artwork and pictures about the game. The site also has sections detailing the new features in Pokemon Platinum Version like the new WiFi Plaza and Global Terminal.

The Rotom Forme Silhouettes were also revealed on the site to the North American audience. The Rotom Formes were revealed last year in Japan and they were featured in DP105.

Protect the Bippa Village!!' / 'Straw Pokémon, Part Two!' / 'Mystery Dungeon Personal Experiences & Pokemon Movie's Main Character Announcement' (ダイヤモンド&パールリターンズ「爆走ハガネール!ビッパの村を守れ!!」「わらしべポケモン第2弾!」「不思議のダンジョン新作体験&映画主役ポケモン発表」), aired on Sunday in Japan.

This weeks Pokémon Revival episode is 爆走ハガネール!ビッパの村を守れ!! (Roaring Haganeil! Protect the Bippa Village!!) which is the twenty-third episode of Diamond & Pearl. Satoshi and friends are continuing their way towards Floaroma Town for Hikari's next Pokémon contest. They see a Bidoof crying. Takeshi inspects it and sees that it is wounded.

In this weeks episode, there were many large announcements. Pokémon Mystery Dungeon - Explorers of the Sky (ポケモン不思議のダンジョン 空の探検隊) was announced and the box art and some gameplay screenshots were shown. Arceus was also unveiled on the show. The official website has also added pictures and information about Arceus. Higher resolution scans from yesterday's Corocoro issue with the announcements of Arceus and Explorers of the Sky are also available on the Imageboard.

It was also announced this week and on the show that Arceus would have a major role in the upcoming 12th Pocket Monsters movie. アルセウス超克の時空へ (Arceus - To the Conquering of Space-Time) is now the title of the movie and the new logo was revealed on the show, on the official movie website and in latest Corocoro issue.

picThe official Japanese website for Pokémon Mystery Dungeon - Explorers of the Sky has updated to include tons of new information and screenshots for the upcoming game which will be released on April 18th.

Your role in the game starts of one day at a beach. You wake up and realize that you have lost your memory and that you are a Pokémon. At this beach, you meet up with a help-seeking Pokémon which takes you to an expedition guild. As a member of an exploration team, you strive to overcome many difficult challenges.

One day, a Juptile steals a "Time Wheel". Why did it steal it and for what purpose...? And what great events stand before you...?

Two of the extra side-quest episodes were also announced and they fill in part of story from the game.

  • The Genius Pupurin - You play as an Pupurin, which you find out is the Pukurin Guild leader before it evolved. He teams up with his friends Muchul, Upah and Subomie and end up going to the Forest of Darkness where he meets an Armaldo. What adventure lies ahead?

  • In the Dark Future - The second quest takes place after the main story. Juptile and Yonoir have vanished into the future. Dark Dialga has apparently turned his back on Yonoir for failing him, thus leading Juptile and Yonoir's to an alliance.

picpicAnother picture from this months Corocoro has been leaked. The picture shows box-art for the upcoming game, Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of the Sky. The picture also shows it will be released in Japan on April 18th, 2009 and will cost 4800yen.

Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of the Sky is the third game in the Pokémon Mystery Dungeon series. Chunsoft is currently finishing development on the game.
