Description:Pokémon Channel (ポケモンチャンネル ～ピカチュウといっしょ!～) is a unique Gamecube title that allows players to watch Pokémon on TV and interact with them. The game was first released in Japan on July 18, 2003 for 5800 Yen.
Pichu Bros. in Party Panic is included in the game and has to be unlocked to watch the full version of the animated special. The episode is split into five parts and the full version is unlocked once people have completed the events of the sixth day.
Story/Information:Channel-surf with Pikachu by your side. Enjoy and interact with tons of great Pokémon-style shows! Match wits in Wobuffet's Quiz show, work out to Smoochum's Shape-Up, and buy cool stuf for your room on Shop 'N Squirtle. You can even unlock a world premiere full-length cartoon starring the Pichu Bros.!
But there's much more. Turn off your TV and exlore your room and the great outdoors with your pal Pikachu! Scan and color special Nintendo e-Reader cards! Play virtual versions of Pokémon mini as well.
In the European and Australian versions of Pokémon Channel, players can obtain Jirachi and it can be transferred to Pokémon Ruby or Sapphire. Pokémon Channel also includes a virtual Pokémon Mini with allows players to try the exclusive game, Snorlax's Lunchtime.
- Use the GameCube-Game Boy Advance Link Cable to transfer Pokémon from your Game Boy Advance Pokémon games - Pokémon Ruby or Sapphire.
- Watch the full length animated short Pichu Bros. in Party Panic.
- Pokémon Channel also includes a virtual Pokémon Mini.
- Pokémon Channel uses the GameCube's internal clock to count real time as game time.
