See what was shown during the conclusion of the North America International Championships. Following three incredible days of action in New Orleans, the closing ceremony for the North America International Championships (NAIC) offered fans new details on where they can expect to battle at NAIC next season and what to expect from the upcoming Pokémon World Championships.

The North America International Championships have taken place in New Orleans, Louisiana, for the last three years, and the huge event is heading to a new location—Chicago, Illinois! Next year’s NAIC will take place in the Windy City, and we’re looking forward to seeing you all there.

But before we get to the 2027 season, there’s still one last tournament—the capstone Pokémon World Championships. Taking place in San Francisco, California, in August, Worlds will once again feature a commemorative Paradise Resort promo card for competitors.


There was also a sneak peek at all the cool items included in this year’s Worlds Welcome Kit, including a deck box, card sleeves, and playmat among many other goodies. Also revealed were the items from the Champions line, which are awarded to World Champions.


The first-ever PokémonXP is taking place during Worlds weekend, and fans got a first look at the exhibitors and partners attendees they can expect to see at both events, including LEGO and many more. Fans in attendance will also be greeted with the opportunity to purchase a Pikachu that’s out of this world—the first PokémonXP celebratory Pikachu plush available at Pokémon Center! That’s not all; PokémonXP and Worlds attendees are also set to receive a PokémonXP-stamped Rayquaza card exclusive to both events.

Last, but certainly not least, Trainers who are unable to make it to Worlds or PokémonXP can still be part of the hype and obtain this year’s Worlds Pikachu card by attending a Worlds Celebration at a local Play! Pokémon Store.
