A Message from the Pokémon Masters EX Team (Vol. 61)

Greetings, Trainers.
We’re the producers of Pokémon Masters EX, Yu Sasaki and Tetsuya Iguchi, here with a new message for you. Today, we’ll focus on details about events beginning around the end of April and the new Sync Pairs that will debut.

App Update for Late April

New story content titled Fateful Reunion will be added to the Mysterious Stones Chapter on April 30, 2024! You’ll need to have collected a total of 600 Mysterious Stones to unlock this story’s area. Volo and Rei finally meet face-to-face on Pasio. What will Rei do in response to Volo’s intentions?
We hope you look forward to this story!

In addition, we made improvements that allow you to easily check successful teams when you are unable to win a battle, and also revamped each 5★-Guaranteed Sync Pair Scout found in the General tab of the Ticket Scout menu so that you can scout either ×5 or ×10.

Story Event Good Ol’ Rika Here Is Coming

Rika, a new Trainer from the Paldea region, arrives on Pasio! Rika will star in Story Event Good Ol’ Rika Here beginning on April 25, 2024, and is an Elite Four member who appears in Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet. We hope you look forward to seeing what kinds of stories await her and her partner Clodsire on Pasio.

Also, by teaming up with Rika & Clodsire from their Poké Fair Scout that will be available at the same time as the event, you’ll be able to invite Rika as a Guest to the Trainer Lodge! Plus, you can get a Clodsire photo frame for the Photo Creator by teaming up with Rika & Clodsire, so we hope you try to add them to your team.

Note: Rika can be invited as a Guest to the Trainer Lodge starting April 30, 2024.

Rika & Clodsire

Rika & Clodsire are a Ground-type Support Sync Pair. Their EX Role is Field. Their Rampant Mud Slap Buddy Move can lower all opponents’ accuracy by two stat ranks and leave them poisoned. It can also create a Ground Zone and increase all allies’ Physical Moves ↑ Next and Special Moves ↑ Next effects by two ranks each!
They can also use their Think Fast! Trainer move to raise all allies’ Attack and Sp. Atk by two stat ranks. Plus, they have a Passive Skill that restores all allies’ HP when Rika & Clodsire get hit by an attack move, and another Passive Skill that lowers one of the following stats of an opponent that attacked them by two stat ranks at random when hit by an attack move: Attack, Defense, Sp. Atk, Sp. Def, or Speed. All of this makes them quite a versatile Sync Pair!


Additionally, we’re planning a special Log-in Bonus where you can enjoy conversations with Rika, as well as a gem special to commemorate her arrival.

Plus, a Special Battle Event in which Rika will assign you Missions to complete will begin on April 26, 2024.
You’ll be able to get many fabulous rewards, such as the exclusive “Passed Rika’s Elite Test” Title. Also, based on the total number of Missions completed by all Trainers, you can earn Artwork of Rika & Clodsire to decorate the Trainer Lodge, so we hope you join the event.

Three Triple Feature Poké Fair Scouts Are Coming

Three different Triple Feature Poké Fair Scouts will begin on April 26, 2024, featuring Sync Pairs such as Skyla (Anniversary 2022) & Tornadus, Palmer & Regigigas, and Gloria (Dojo Uniform) & Urshifu! For each lineup, there will be a regular Triple Feature Poké Fair Scout, as well as a paid-gems-only Triple Feature Poké Fair Scout that comes with a Roll Cake present. Each featured Fair-Exclusive Sync Pair will have an EX Role added, so we hope you look forward to it.

Note: Palmer & Regigigas already have an EX Role.

A Costume Event Is Coming

The sequel to the ongoing Costume Event New Heroes Are Born will start on April 29, 2024. Two figures have appeared before our heroes as villains! You won’t want to miss the exciting conclusion!

High Score Event Water and Fairy Conqueror Is Coming

A High Score Event will begin on May 6, 2024. As we mentioned in a previous message, this High Score Event will have two recommended types. You’ll have a broader range of strategies to try this time, so start training your Water- and Fairy-type Sync Pairs!

Taking into account the difference in battle difficulty based on the available Sync Pairs of the recommended types for this High Score Event, the maximum number of points needed to obtain the featured reward will be changed from 180,000 to 200,000. We plan to make more adjustments to this point total based on the difficulty of future events as well.

Other Events and Updates

Also scheduled are returns of Solo Event Pasio Gold Rush, Daily Battle The Golden Magikarp, and Story Event A Golden Future, as well as the addition of an Ultimate Battle and a new Trainer Files.

Throughout the event period, you can take on this event battle once a day. In addition to items useful for your explorations, you can obtain the following 3 types of tickets at random as battle completion rewards:

• Bliss Ticket

You can exchange the tickets you obtain for items. The Exchange Items menu has several useful items, such as 5★-Guaranteed Scout Tickets, Lucky Scrolls, and Lucky Cookies. A special battle featuring Happiny and Chansey will be available during the following time periods.

Tiered Scouts

Tiered Scouts are special Sync Pair Scouts that can only be used with Paid Gems. Each time you scout, you will proceed to the next tier. The Barry Costume Tiered Scout goes up to Tier 10. In the Barry Costume Tiered Scout, by using Sync Pair Scouts in Tiers 5 and 10, you will receive special Tickets to use in the Ticket Scout! You can team up with a Costume Sync Pair!

Note: For details on each tier, please check Tier Details on the corresponding sync pair scout screen.

Ticket Scout Details

Ticket Scouts are special Sync Pair Scouts that can only be used with specific Tickets. One 5★ Sync Pair is guaranteed in the Barry Costume Featured Ticket Scout, which requires a Ticket you can get in Tier 5 of the Barry Costume Tiered Scout to use. 5★ Barry (Special Costume) & Heracross have a higher chance of appearing.

Also, you can use the Ticket you get in Tier 10 on the Barry Costume Guaranteed Ticket Scout to team up with 5★ Barry (Special Costume) & Heracross guaranteed!
Note: Tickets earned from the Barry Costume Tiered Scout can only be used for the Ticket Scouts featuring 5★ Barry (Special Costume) & Heracross.

Special Event Pasio Special Stadium Under Way! The Pasio Special Stadium is a special Champion Stadium battle that is held for a limited time only. Unlike the regular Champion Stadium, a mix of Elite Four members and a Champion from each region are waiting for you.

A certain type is effective in event battles in the Pasio Special Stadium. This time, the opposing Sync Pairs are weak against Fire-type attacks. Take on powerful opponents for a chance to enter the Hall of Fame!

To unlock this event, you must complete the Champion Stadium Kanto Challenge on Normal difficulty. After unlocking it, you can participate in the event by going to Explore > Champion Stadium > Pasio Special Stadium.

Collect Mysterious Stones

Gathering the required number of Mysterious Stones will unlock the Mysterious Stones Chapter. After acquiring a total of 500 Mysterious Stones, you will unlock Long-Held Ambitions on the Move.

Note: The number of Mysterious Stones needed to unlock an area is based on the total number of stones you have acquired.
Note: If you have not acquired enough Mysterious Stones to unlock an area, you can check the area to see how many Mysterious Stones it requires and how many you have acquired in total.

Where to Find Mysterious Stones

Mysterious Stones can be obtained as completion rewards from all of the Daily Region Rotation battles, and there is also a small chance of receiving them from Trainer Lodge expeditions. You may also receive them randomly from some area info in the Training Areas.

Epic Battle Event Legendary Gauntlet No. 1 under way! The Epic Battle Event Legendary Gauntlet No. 1 is under way!

Update Details

The layout of the ranking page has been changed. The number of people displayed on the ranking page has been expanded from 5,000 to 10,000. Starting this time, Titles have been newly added to the Prestige Rewards.


To coincide with the addition of Title rewards, an event number will be added each time the Legendary Gauntlet is held starting with this one.

Note: This iteration of the event will be counted as No. 1.
Note: There are some screens in the Legendary Gauntlet where the event number is not displayed.

The Titles available this time can only be acquired from this event. You will be unable to acquire them in future events. You can use the Sync Pairs you’ve trained so far to emerge victorious in super-challenging Legendary Arena battles and earn special rewards!

Legendary Gauntlet Details

The Legendary Gauntlet is a special event where you can take on multiple super-challenging Legendary Arena battles to see how many consecutive wins you can rack up. Once a Sync Pair has been taken into battle, they will not be able to participate in any other battles, regardless of the outcome. The rewards you earn depend on how many consecutive wins you achieve. Optimize your Team and battle order to win as many battles as you can.

This is an extremely difficult battle event. Not only should you level up your Sync Pairs, but you should also make sure that you go in with upgrades such as activated Sync Grids and upgraded gear.

Available Battles

The following 3 battles are available:

• Tapu Bulu’s Challenge: Part 3
• Tornadus’s Challenge: Part 3
• Registeel’s Challenge: Part 3

Obtainable Event Rewards

Obtain a Guaranteed Lucky Cookie 2!

By reaching certain win streak milestones, you can obtain a Guaranteed Lucky Cookie 2. Using this Lucky Cookie guarantees that your sync pair learns the Status Immunity Lucky Skill.

Obtain a Deluxe Lucky Cookie!

By completing these battles, you can get the following Lucky Cookies as Gauntlet Rewards:

• 1★ Deluxe Lucky Cookie
• 2★ Deluxe Lucky Cookie
• 3★ Deluxe Lucky Cookie

Using these Lucky Cookies will allow your sync pairs to learn various Lucky Skills.
Note: Unlike normal drop rewards, Gauntlet Reward drop rates increase based on your Drop Rate Level.

Legendary Gauntlet Win Streak Leaderboard

Once you win a battle, you will be entered into the ranking for the longest win streaks earned during the event period. The ranking is determined by the largest number of win streaks, and if the number is the same between multiple players, they will be given the same spot in the ranking. If you earn a spot in the ranking, other players will be able to view your profile as well as the Sync Pairs you used in battle.

During the event period, you are able to check the rankings at that point as well as your own rank. You can only confirm your own rank if you are within the top 10,000 places, and you will be listed as unranked if you fall outside of that range. You will acquire a Title based on your place in the rankings, and you will receive all of the Titles that are below the one you earned.

Displaying Teams That Completed the Event

You can view the team that you used to complete the event, as well as those used by other players listed in the ranking. Resetting will not reset your team’s record in the ranking. If you reset your data and then earn a place in the ranking again with a higher win streak, your previous record will be replaced.
