The Pokémon Center is collaborating with Yakushigama, a brand of CHUGAI TOEN Pottery, which expresses traditional pottery with a modern sensibility! On Saturday, November 27th, 2021, ceramic decorations which shine with the skills of craftsmen, will appear at the Pokémon Center.

Each ceramic decoration is carefully made by skilled craftsmen. The Pikachu and Raikou one is based on a drawing by popular illustrator Atsuko Nishida (にしだあつこ). The ceramic decoration comes with a pedestal and a gold folding screen, making it a perfect interior decoration to welcome the New Year. Pikachu and the Koiking are together in the design of the ceramic ornament, and when shaken gently, the soft sound of the bell resonates. Be sure to get your hands on these softly textured ceramic decorations. The Pokémon Center Online will start selling them from 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 25th, 2021!

Atsuko Nishida Profile

He has been in charge of designing many popular Pokemon such as Pikachu. He also works on illustrations and designs in various genres such as games, card illustrations, and characters. He is a graphic designer and illustrator who is currently active as a freelancer.

In celebration of its 75th anniversary in 2021, STAR JEWELRY and Pokémon have collaborated on a new line of jewelry to be released on December 1st, 2021! Pokémon also celebrated its 25th anniversary this year. The concept is "Pokémon meets craftsmanship". A total of 10 types of jewelry will be available at STAR JEWELRY stores nationwide in Japan and the official online store. High resolutions images of the products in this collaboration have been added to an Imageboard thread.


The collection includes authentic jewelry made of 18k yellow gold and 10k yellow gold with diamonds and Akoya pearls. The Star Jewelry official website will release a special page and a special movie for the collection on November 26th, 2021.

The theme of the jewelry design

The jewelry based on the concept of "Diamond and Pearl". Designs in the shape of Pikachu, lightning bolts and monster balls. With the release of Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, the latest in the Pokémon series of video games, in November, they designed jewelry using diamonds and Akoya pearls.

Pikachu, its tail, lightning bolts, and monster balls will be used as motifs to uniquely express the world view.

The Pokémon Design Lab is a service that allows you to design your own T-shirts using a large touch screen and purchase them on the spot and it now features Pokémon from the Sinnoh region! A total of 121 Pokémon from Pokémon Diamond and Pearl, including those with different forms, will be added to the Pokémon art available for design. Choose your favorite Pokémon and make your own original T-shirt!

Nov. 3, 2021 — Today, The Pokémon Company International unveiled the new Pokémon VSTAR gameplay mechanic for the best-selling Pokémon Trading Card Game. Pokémon VSTAR will appear in the upcoming Pokémon TCG: Sword & Shield—Brilliant Stars expansion, arriving at participating retailers worldwide on February 25, 2022.

Pokémon VSTAR evolve from Pokémon V and will play a major role in the Pokémon TCG metagame. Each Pokémon VSTAR has a VSTAR Power — an Ability or attack — with an extremely powerful effect that can decide the outcome of a battle. Players can use only one VSTAR Power per game, and those who use a VSTAR Power must flip over a VSTAR marker during the battle.

In addition to their VSTAR Powers, Pokémon VSTAR have high HP and high-damage attacks, and they give up two Prize cards when Knocked Out.

Trainers can look forward to seeing Arceus VSTAR, Charizard VSTAR, Shaymin VSTAR and Whimsicott VSTAR in Sword & Shield—Brilliant Stars. The expansion will also include a special Trainer Gallery subset of 30 cards with artwork featuring fan-favorite Trainers and Pokémon.





Available in booster packs, Elite Trainer Boxes and special collections, Sword & Shield—Brilliant Stars will include the following:

• 20 Pokémon V and 15 full-art Pokémon V
• Four new Pokémon VSTAR
