Apple Selects Mobile Game as 2025 App Store Award WinnerBellevue, Wash. — Dec. 11, 2025 – Today, the Pokémon Company group announced that Crimson Blaze, the next themed booster pack for the popular Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket app, will be available around the world beginning Dec. 17, 2025. This update follows Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket being awarded iPhone Game of the Year for captivating fans around the world with its fresh take on card collection, as part of Apple’s 2025 App Store Awards unveiled earlier this month.
New Crimson Blaze Themed Booster Pack
The Crimson Blaze themed booster pack marks the Pokémon TCG Pocket debut of fan-favorite Mega-Evolved Pokémon like Mega Charizard Y, Mega Venusaur and Mega Blastoise as Mega Evolution Pokémon ex. In addition to the newly introduced Pokémon, players can look forward to discovering many new cards for their collections which will feature research lab–themed illustrations. Cards can be obtained by opening packs and via the wonder pick feature in the app.
