Satoshi and friends are visiting Iris' hometown, the "Dragon Village", where they're excited over all the Dragon Pokemon there. But then, suddenly a Sazandora who just evolved from a Dihead starts acting violently. Iris responds by...!?

Summary:
As they're headed towards Higaki City, where the Isshu League will soon be held, Satoshi and friends drop by Iris' hometown, the Dragon Village. Iris wanted to go there so she could report the progress of her journey to the matriarch, as well as visit her childhood friend Shobu. As they visit Shobu, the two 'Hostile Pokémon' Dihead she is raising appear. Shobu tells them the two are like brothers, born from their eggs the same day, but that the older of the two isn't feeling well today for some reason...

As Satoshi and friends are eating lunch at Shobu's place, the younger Dihead rushes in, visibly upset by something. As the group follows Dihed, they see that the older Dihead has evolved into the 'Brutal Pokémon' Sazandora. But Sazandora is startled by its own evolution, and ends up flying into a rampage. Iris says she'll do something about it, and...!?

We finally get some more Iris-focused episodes, so that means we can finally know more about her past and everything. I always like to get to know the main characters better, something they didn't always do too well in previous series.

However, it seems this episode was more of an introduction to the next one...
