In order to see what it was like to have a Pokémon battle, Sean got his father's Pokémon so he and Glenn could try battling with them. Glenn used Sean's Father's Patrat to battle against Sean's Father's Blitzle who was commanded by Sean. The initial battle when on for quite awhile and both Sean's Father's Patrat and Sean's Father's Blitzle got exhausted from the battling and were finally both recalled by Sean as they are precious to his father and he didn't want them to be injured.

None of Sean's Father's Blitzle moves are known as Sean's only command was for it to dodge Sean's Father's Patrat's Tackle attack.
