In the first airing of Diamond and Pearl 131, the announcer informed viewers that they already knew that with the claim tickets attached to pre-ordered tickets for the 12th Pocket Monsters movie, they could use the Nintendo DS games Pocket Monsters Diamond, Pearl or Platinum to receive a Pikachu-colored Pichu. He announced the moves for the Pikachu-colored Pichu and depending on the way players used the moves, they could gain the upper hand in their battles! Furthermore, if they took this Pikachu it to Pocket Monsters HeartGold or SoulSilver, they could meet the jagged-eared Pichu!
