The official TV Tokyo website has posted a brief synopsis for the upcoming 1 hour Pocket Monsters Diamond and Pearl 170/171 special that will be airing on April 1st, 2010. It was announced that a new variant of Dotchi ~ Nyo? (ドッチ~ニョ？新バージョン登場！) will air during that broadcast. No further information regarding the variant was announced.

Seriously, how much more strange can this ending get and how many variants are we going to get? I've lost count there is so many versions. I wonder if Pokemon Sunday will get this new variant too as they've been airing the extended verses of Dotchi Nyo recently.

As long as it doesn't have those stupid dancers I'll be happy! . . . Although if it's the "strange" version, it'll probably just have something even creepier.

Though it's already been said before, how can Dotchi~Nyo? get any stranger? I thought a dancing Croagunk, strange Meditite and Medicham, and extreme close up of Psyduck's face while random people are screaming "Aaaaaaaaaaaaa" in the background was strange enough.

But then again, the girls dancing was even stranger. If they intend to get even weirder than that, then whoa. Let's go back to the original with the sweating Psyduck.
