Nintendo of Japan has revealed that a Nintendo Wii U POKKÉN TOURNAMENT Set (Wii U ポッ拳 POKKÉN TOURNAMENT セット) will be released on March 18th, 2016. The set will cost 36,800 yen and includes: a 32GB Black Wii U Premium Set, a digital copy of Pokkén Tournament, a Shadow Mewtwo amiibo card and a Battle Pokémon Action List pamphlet.

Also being released on March 18th, 2016 for 3,480 yen will be the POKKÉN TOURNAMENT Exclusive Controller for Wii U (『ポッ拳』専用コントローラー for Wii U). It is the same wired controller that is used in the arcade version of POKKÉN TOURNAMENT. It was revealed that the game is also compatible with the Nintendo Wii U Pro Controller and the Classic Controller Pro controller.

That controller doesn't really look that great - I don't see how it would be any better than a classic controller. I suppose it's mostly to appeal to fans of the arcade game who want the same experience in their homes. I wonder if the controller will be released outside Japan? I can't really see it appealing to people who haven't played the arcade version.

TSS_Killer pointed out to me that it is a different controller than the one used in the arcade but stylized to look like it. Honestly, I don't really see how this is any better either. Looks like a glorified NES controller.
