A Message from the Pokémon Masters EX Team (Vol. 57)

Greetings, Trainers.
We’re the producers of Pokémon Masters EX, Yu Sasaki and Tetsuya Iguchi, here with a new message for you. Today, we’ll focus on details about events beginning around the end of January and the new Sync Pairs that will debut.

App Update for Late January - Battle Rally

A new battle feature called the Battle Rally will be added on January 30, 2024! In this content, you’ll see how many Rally Points you can earn as you try to win a total of 10 battles. These points are exclusive to the Battle Rally.

The key to success is using the Rally Shop, which you can visit between battles. Opponents become stronger as you progress through battles, so you’ll need to purchase items at the Rally Shop to help you proceed. Since you need to spend Rally Points to purchase items, putting yourself in a position to win while still leaving as many Rally Points as possible is vital.

For each battle, certain Roles can earn you bonus Rally Points, so be sure to use Sync Pairs with the specified Roles!

The Rally Points you have at the end will be converted into Battle Rally Medals, which can be exchanged for a variety of items including Roll Cake Coin Vouchers, which let you acquire the Roll Cake Coin of your choice.

You need a Battle Rally Pass to take on the Battle Rally. We plan to make them obtainable from weekly Battle Rally Missions and other places.

A Log-in Bonus to celebrate the arrival of the Battle Rally will begin on January 30, 2024. You can get three Battle Rally Passes that can only be used for a limited time from this Log-in Bonus, so we hope you put them to use!

A New Guest Arrives in the Trainer Lodge

Starting January 31, 2024, you’ll be able to invite Wally as a Guest to the Trainer Lodge! To invite Wally, you’ll need to team up with Wally & Gallade first. You can team up with Wally & Gallade from various Sync Pair Scouts, so be sure to invite him once you’ve teamed up with this Sync Pair.

As we mentioned in a previous message, starting January 30, 2024 you’ll be able to play the Battle Villa whenever you want from the Side Area menu. Also, new story content titled The Creator of All Things will be added to the Mysterious Stones Chapter on January 31, 2024!

You’ll need to have collected a total of 300 Mysterious Stones to unlock this story’s area. In this story, Rei hears a mysterious voice, so Professor Bellis and the others come up with a hypothesis and decide to speak with those who have “close ties.”
We hope you enjoy it!

Time Trial Event Let’s Go for Number One! Is Coming

Time Trial Event Let’s Go for Number One! will begin on January 30, 2024! Chase, who appears in Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee!, arrives on Pasio! This event has a Time Trial Event format and features a story starring Chase.

Chase & Pikachu

Chase & Pikachu are an Electric-type Support Sync Pair. Their EX Role is Sprint. They can increase all allies’ Special Moves ↑ Next effect by one rank and apply Kanto Circle (Special) with their Kanto Analysis Trainer move!

Also, their Let’s Go, Everyone! Trainer move can reduce the Sync Move countdown by one, and can be used two times. Plus, they have Passive Skills that raise all allies’ speed and evasiveness by one stat rank and their own Defense and Sp. Def by one stat rank after using a Trainer move. Another Passive Skill of theirs heals all allies’ HP when Chase & Pikachu get hit by an attack move, making them a Sync Pair that excels in providing durability.

In addition, an event where you can team up with Petey (Poké Kid) & Pikachu will begin on February 1, 2024, so we hope you look forward to it!

Other Events and Updates

A seasonal Story Event is scheduled to begin on February 8, 2024. Plus, in the second half of February we’ll reach the four-and-a-half-year mark since launch, so we hope you look forward to this as well!

Future Updates

At the end of February, we plan to release our expansion of the Profile feature that will let you express yourself even more, which we mentioned in our message at the four-year anniversary! You’ll be able to add new things like titles and hashtags to customize your Profile in your own way.

We’re also excited to announce the addition of a new photo feature that will allow you to create photos of up to three of your favorite Trainers, which you can then display on your Profile screen!

Not only can you line up Trainers in your photos, but you can also customize aspects such as their positioning, expressions, and poses. Also, by changing the background and frame, you can recreate various situations and make a touching, memorable photo!

We hope you’ll try to make a photo you like and decorate your Profile.

We’re also planning to release features that let you save Lucky Skills and switch between them based on the battle, and the ability to raise the energy cap for Sync Grids, so we hope you look forward to these updates as well!

What to Expect in the Next Message

Our next message is scheduled for late February. In it, we plan to share information about new Sync Pairs and events for March. We’re always working hard to deliver updates and improvements that make the world of Pokémon Masters EX as fun as possible.

Until next time, thank you for playing Pokémon Masters EX.
