The Pokémon Company International announced on June 1st, 2026, the Pokémon Trading Card Game: 30th Celebration Expansion set and revealed it would be released on September 16th, 2026 at participating retailers worldwide. The Pokémon Company International Reveals Product Lineup for Commemorative Pokémon Trading Card Game: 30th Celebration Expansion

June 30, 2026 — The Pokémon Company International today revealed more details about the highly anticipated Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG): 30th Celebration expansion, available at participating retailers around the world beginning Sept. 16, 2026.

Unveiled earlier this month, the commemorative 30th Celebration expansion contains all foil cards and will introduce an all-new card rarity, Futuristic rare, which will feature vibrant new visuals illustrated by the renowned Japanese artist YOSHIROTTEN. In addition, fans can look forward to discovering one of 30 Pikachu rare cards in each 30th Celebration booster pack, encountering Pokémon illustrated in various moments throughout daytime and nighttime and discovering 30 classic Pokémon cards making a return to the Pokémon TCG.

Cards from 30th Celebration will be available in the following products beginning Sept. 16, 2026:[1]


30th Celebration Elite Trainer Box: Includes nine 30th Celebration booster packs, one illustration rare–style promo card featuring Nidorina and various gameplay accessories.


30th Celebration Poster Collection: Includes three 30th Celebration booster packs; three promo cards featuring Articuno, Zapdos and Moltres; and one full-size, two-sided poster featuring cards found in the 30th Celebration expansion.


30th Celebration Tech Sticker Collection: Includes three 30th Celebration booster packs; one foil promo card featuring Alolan Exeggutor or Lucario; and one corresponding sticker sheet for personalizing laptops, tablets and other tech devices.


30th Celebration Pokémon ex Box: Includes four 30th Celebration booster packs, one promo card featuring Sylveon ex or Greninja ex and one corresponding oversize card.

30th Celebration Knock Out Collection: Includes two 30th Celebration booster packs, one foil promo card featuring Eevee and one commemorative coin.
Fans can also look forward to more 30th Celebration products releasing later in 2026.

Ahead of the release of the tabletop version, players will be able to play with the 30th Celebration expansion starting Sept. 15, 2026, at 10 a.m. PDT, in Pokémon TCG Live for iOS, Android, macOS and Windows devices. Players can collect and battle with new cards from this commemorative expansion and receive in-game bonuses when logging in to the game.
