The official Japanese Pokémon website has revealed that for the next twelve months, a new Pikachu plush doll will be released for purchase each month at the Pokémon Centers. Fresher Pikachu (フレッシャーズピカチュウ) will be the first plushie to be released on Saturday March 21st, 2015 and will cost 1600 yen. The term Fresher means a newly hired career-track company employee. The next Pikachu plushie will be released on April 11th, 2015. To also celebrate the launch, one of three different business cards will be given out to those that visit the Pokémon Center starting March 14th, 2015 until supplies last.

The official Japanese Pokémon website has revealed that a set of Cosplay Pikachu Plushies will be available for purchase at the Pokémon Centers starting December 20th, 2014 for 1800yen each. Pikachu Rock Star (ぬいぐるみ　ハードロック), Pikachu Belle (ぬいぐるみ　マダム), Pikachu Pop Star (ぬいぐるみ　アイドル), Pikachu, Ph. D. (ぬいぐるみ　ドクター) and Pikachu Libre (ぬいぐるみ　マスクド) will all be available.

The Japanese Pokémon Centers will begin selling Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire Hoenn Starters and Hoenn Legendaries Plushies starting on September 20th, 2014. They will also be available on the Amazon Pokémon Store starting on September 27th, 2014.
