Arc Suit Sync Pairs

Arc Suit Sync Pairs are Arc Suit Fair–exclusive Sync Pairs. In addition to regular Passive Skills, these sync pairs will have one Arc Suit Passive Skill that strengthens your whole team, and one that raises your team’s Type Rebuff and lowers the Type Rebuff of your opponent’s team the first time the sync pair enters each battle.

Also, Arc Suit Sync Pairs have a special Role: Multi! Once you raise a Multi Sync Pair to 6★ EX, they’ll be able to lower the Type Rebuff of the opponent’s team the first time they use their Sync Move each battle.

Multi Sync Pairs can specialize in dealing damage like a Strike Sync Pair, or at protecting their team like a Support Sync Pair. Therefore, it is important to choose a style that matches the characteristics of your particular Sync Pair.

Note: These Sync Pairs’ characteristics are essentially their EX Role.
Note: The number and type of items needed to unlock level caps will differ from other Roles.
Note: Multi Sync Pairs can use 5★ Move Candies or 5★ Custom Move Candies to raise their move level.

High Score Event Electric and Ground Conqueror Under Way! High Score Event Electric and Ground Conqueror now live! You can use the Sync Pairs you have trained up until now to update your Best Score and aim for a higher place in the rankings!

High Score Event Details

The High Score Event is an event where you attempt to obtain scores in five different battles and earn rewards. Sync Pairs that have completed one of the battles will not be able to participate in any other battle unless that battle is reset.

The more Sync Pairs of the Recommended Types that you have on your team each time the event occurs, the easier it is to increase your score, so be sure to train lots of Sync Pairs featuring the Recommended Types!

Note: This time, the event features two recommended types.
Note: We may adjust the number of points necessary to obtain the featured rewards, taking into consideration the difficulty of battles when using Sync Pairs of the recommended types.

Recommended Types

Recommended Types will be specified each time the High Score Event occurs. Completing a battle with a Sync Pair of a Recommended Type will add a multiplier to your Base Score. You cannot earn a score if you do not have any Sync Pairs of the Recommended Types on your team.

How to Obtain a Base Score

You can obtain a Base Score based on the listed battle rules and challenge rules, as well as the selected strength of your opponents.

• Battle Rules - You can earn points by fulfilling various rules when completing a battle, such as Time trial or Remaining HP. The better your results, the higher the score you can obtain. The selected rules will differ each time the event is held.

• Challenge Rules - You can earn points by meeting conditions, such as including Sync Pairs of a specific Theme on your team or inflicting a designated status condition on your opponent. The selected rules will differ each time the event is held.
  Note: Depending on the event, there may be some battles where you cannot meet the conditions of the Challenge rules.

• Opponent Strength - This event allows you to adjust your opponents’ strength for each battle. Adjusting your opponents’ strength will raise the stats of opposing Sync Pairs. The more you increase their Strength, the higher the score you can obtain.

Additional Special Parameters

In the High Score Event, special rules such as “Opponents are immune to status conditions and interference” will be set for each battle. Some battles do not have special rules.

About Rankings

Once you complete all of the battles, your Best Score, which is your total score from all battles, will be recorded. The ranking feature will be unlocked when your Best Score has been recorded. The rankings allow you to compare your current Best Score against other players participating in the event.

Your rank changes according to your place in the rankings, and if you are within the top 10,000 spots, you will reach Master Rank. If you reach Master Rank when the rankings are finalized, you will receive a special Medal as a general mission reward. You will acquire a Title based on your place in the rankings, and you will receive all of the Titles that are below the one you earned. This special Medal can also be obtained in future High Score Events.

Note: If your total score after completing all of the battles exceeds your current Best Score, your Best Score will be updated.

Lineup Bonuses

You can earn bonus Event Points if you have featured Sync Pairs in your lineup for battles that are part of this event. The more of these Sync Pairs you include on your team, the more Event Points you can earn!

Note: You can view more information about the featured Sync Pairs in the Special Bonuses screen by tapping the button in the bottom left of the area selection screen.

The lineup bonus is ×1 by default and varies according to which Sync Pairs are on the team.

Example 1: If you place a ×1.6 and a ×1.2 Sync Pair on your team, you will receive ×1.8 the number of featured bonus items.
Example 2: If you place a ×1.6 and a ×1.4 Sync Pair on your team, you will receive ×2.0 the number of featured bonus items.

Event Missions

You can take on special Missions during the event period. Check the Missions screen to learn more!

Event Medals

When you earn Event Points, you can get Event Medals. Try to obtain all of the Event Medals!

New Battle Added to Legendary Adventures!

New battle added to the Main Story’s Legendary Adventures! Previously, you needed to play through Villain Events in order for the Sync Pairs that you can team up with from the Main Story’s Legendary Adventures to be raised to 6★ EX and upgraded, but we have changed how you can obtain the necessary items so that you can now upgrade these Sync Pairs whenever you want.

New Battle Added to the Main Story’s Legendary Adventures!

An Upgraded Trial! was added to the Main Story’s Legendary Adventures. An Upgraded Trial! has been added to all Legendary Adventures, and you can complete it to obtain the Legendary Spirit and crystals needed to upgrade the Sync Pairs you can team up with from Legendary Adventures. You can use crystals to upgrade your Sync Pairs by going to Legendary Adventures under the Exchange Items menu.

Note: The power boost cannot be undone once completed.
Note: If you have already given the Sync Pair a power boost, attempting to give them a power boost via item exchange will earn you a 3★ Power-Up instead.

A Message from the Pokémon Masters EX Team (Vol. 72)

Greetings, Trainers.
I’m Tetsuya Iguchi, general producer of Pokémon Masters EX, here with a new message for you. On February 27, 2025, Pokémon Masters EX will reach its five-and-a-half-year mark since launch! We’re incredibly grateful for your support.
We’re going to keep working hard to provide all you Trainers out there with even more exciting experiences unique to Pokémon Masters EX. Today, we’ll focus on details about events for the 5.5 Year Celebration and the new Sync Pairs that will debut.

Also, to celebrate the Pokémon Presents on February 27, 2025 at 6:00 a.m., 3,000 Gems will be sent to all players, so be sure to check it out.

Pokémon Masters EX 5.5 Year Celebration!

On February 27, 2025 at 10:00 p.m., an event in which Brendan and May become Pasio’s latest Neo Champions will begin, as well as an Extreme Battle Event! In addition, in honor of the 5.5 Year Celebration, a Log-in Bonus will begin, and Gems will go on sale!

Additionally, Brendan (Champion) & Groudon and May (Champion) & Kyogre will arrive as Master Fair-exclusive Sync Pairs, and their respective Pokémon will become Primal Groudon and Primal Kyogre during battle!

On top of that, the new EX weather will be added to go along with the appearances of Primal Groudon and Primal Kyogre! EX weather has more powerful effects than the regular weather conditions that have been available up to now, and it cannot be overwritten by regular weather conditions. (For example, EX rainy weather cannot be changed to sunny weather.)
However, if EX weather is active and you activate a regular weather condition of the same kind, you’ll extend that EX weather’s duration (except in certain circumstances). Moving forward, you’ll still be able to utilize regular weather conditions in battles as well, so try to make use of them all! Please note that Sync Pairs who can make EX weather are also planned to arrive in the future.

May (Champion) & Kyogre

May (Champion) & Kyogre are a Water-type Field Sync Pair. Their EX Role is Strike! Their Blue Power Awakening and Primordial Ocean of Myths Passive Skills make Kyogre become Primal Kyogre the first time they enter a battle, as well as make the weather EX rainy, raise their Sp. Atk by six stat ranks, and reduce the Sync Move countdown by three when Kyogre becomes Primal Kyogre.

Their Blue Origin Pulse Buddy Move can be activated when the weather becomes EX rainy. It’s extremely powerful and can attack all opponents, so make good use of it!

Because their Role is Field, once they’ve been raised to 6★ EX, they’ll make the weather rainy just before they use their Sync Move for the first time each battle. When this happens, if the weather is already EX rainy, then they can also extend the EX rainy weather’s duration.

Brendan (Champion) & Groudon

Brendan (Champion) & Groudon are a Ground-type Field Sync Pair. Their EX Role is Strike! Their Red Power Awakening and Desolate Land of Myths Passive Skills make Groudon become Primal Groudon the first time they enter a battle, as well as make the weather EX sunny, raise their Attack by six stat ranks, and reduce the Sync Move countdown by three when Groudon becomes Primal Groudon.

Because they don’t have any Fire-type moves, they don’t directly benefit from the weather being EX sunny, but when the weather is sunny or EX sunny, another one of their Passive Skills powers up all allies’ moves and Sync Moves, as well as Ground-type moves and Sync Moves, making this Sync Pair an incredible match for teams with both Fire-type and Ground-type allies.

As a Sync Pair with the Field Role, once they’ve been raised to 6★ EX, they’ll create a Ground Zone just before the first time they use their Sync Move each battle.


Additionally, Special Co-op Event Sky, Sea, and Land Challenge will begin on March 1, 2025 at 10:00 p.m.!

In this event, you can collect Proofs of Victory as completion rewards and exchange them in the item exchange for Move Candy Coins for each role, as well as other items. Also, Gym Missions will be available in the form of events, including both solo and group missions in which you collect Proofs of Victory.

You can earn Gems from the solo missions and Gym Scout Tickets from the group missions as rewards, so if you haven’t done so yet, take this chance to join a gym!

Other Events and Updates

The “One-Time-Only! 5.5 Year Celebration Master Fair Scout” will begin on February 27, 2025 at 10:00 p.m. This Sync Pair Scout ×11 requires 10,000 Gems to use, but it lets you team up with one of the featured Master Fair-exclusive Sync Pairs guaranteed.

This time, Leon & Charizard, Archie & Kyogre, and Maxie & Groudon will be featured. When this Sync Pair Scout begins, they’ll each receive powerful Sync Grid tiles for Master Fair-exclusive Sync Pairs, so be sure to check them out.

Scheduled for early March is the return of the event that depicted Archie and Maxie’s arrival on Pasio, as well as an Ultimate Battle addition, plus a High Score Event where the recommended types are Electric and Ground, so we hope you look forward to it all!

In addition, on February 25, 2025 at 10:00 p.m., an event began in which you can team up with three Sync Pairs to celebrate a special collaboration. Plus, a Sync Pair Scout featuring Hop & Zacian is also under way!

In this event, Iono & Kilowattrel, Steven & Skarmory, and Marnie & Liepard are Sync Pairs who will join you already at level 140, and you can get 5★ Custom Move Candies and Custom ★ Power-Ups to upgrade them, so be sure to take on the event if you haven’t yet!

Other App Updates for Late February - A New Guest Arrives in the Trainer Lodge

Starting February 28, 2025, you’ll be able to invite Brendan to the Trainer Lodge as a Guest! To invite Brendan, you’ll need to team up with Brendan & Treecko first. You can team up with Brendan & Treecko via various Sync Pair Scouts.

New Battles Added to Legendary Adventures

As we mentioned in our previous message, new battles called An Upgraded Trial! will be added to the Main Story’s Legendary Adventures on February 27, 2025!

In these battles, you can team up with Sync Pairs by progressing through each story, then get the Legendary Spirit and crystals needed to raise them to 6★ EX and upgrade them.
If you weren’t able to upgrade your Sync Pairs in past Villain Events, be sure to strengthen them here and take them into battle!

Future Plans

In our next update, we’ll release an event themed around a completely new approach to lore and storytelling, which we first mentioned in our message from the five-year anniversary! Detailed information will be available starting mid-March, so we hope you look forward to it!

Strongest Trainers Festival Special Collaboration Event with the POKÉMON CARD LOUNGE

To celebrate the Special Kick-Start Event Strong and Reliable Friends (Strongest Trainers Festival 最強トレーナーズフェスティバル), a project that showcases the charms of the Pokémon Trainers with a focus on the Pokémon Card Game and the app Pokémon Masters EX, the POKÉMON CARD LOUNGE will be holding a special collaboration project!

In conjunction with the campaign to win a special play mat for 5,000 people, which has been running in Pokémon Masters EX since February 26th, 2025, an exhibition using illustrations from the playmat will be set up in the POKÉMON CARD LOUNGE.

The first part of the exhibition will be the Stylish Lillie Playmat from Thursday, February 27th, 2025 to Friday, March 14th, 2025 and the second part will be a different playmat from Saturday, March 15th, 2025 to Friday, March 28th, 2025.

During the period, the Welcome Cards given to visitors to the lounge area will also have a special design, and a photo spot panel will also be set up in the gallery area. Enjoy the Strongest Trainers Festival!
