On January 16th, 2026, the latest Pokémon Trading Card Game booster pack Blade Awakened (利刃猛醒) will be released in China. The set features the Greninja EX card but also Ancient and Future cards. New ACE SPEC cards will also make their debut, offering fresh battle and collecting experiences. New bundle products featuring Blade Awakened booster packs will also be released at the same time.


Booster packs are available in 5 card and 20 card packs. A Coin Set pack containing 3 Blade Awakened Booster Packs, a coin and a featured card will also be available. 5 card packs cost 39 yuan.

There are a total of 25 Pokémon holo cards with C/U/R rarity. Furthermore, C/U/R rarity Pokémon holo cards can be either Poké Ball patterned or Master Ball patterned. (The ratio of Poké Ball patterned holo cards to Master Ball patterned holo cards is 99:1.)

Pokémon Trading Card Game Coin Collector's Book

A Pokémon Trading Card Game Coin Collector's Book featuring Greninja will also be released. The book features Greninja on the cover and contains 30 coin slots. Nov. 20, 2025 — The Pokémon Company International announced today that a new expansion for the bestselling Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG), Mega Evolution—Ascended Heroes, will be available beginning Jan. 30, 2026, at participating retailers worldwide.


Inspired by the recently launched Pokémon Legends: Z-A video game, Mega Evolution—Ascended Heroes will welcome new characters and locations to the Pokémon TCG. Trainers can look forward to discovering cards featuring new Mega Evolution Pokémon ex — including Mega Dragonite ex — and Trainer’s Pokémon. In addition, players will encounter returning fan-favorite Mega Evolution Pokémon ex and Trainer’s Pokémon that appear in Mega Evolution—Ascended Heroes with new illustrations.

Furthermore, Mega Evolution—Ascended Heroes will introduce an all-new card rarity: Mega attack rare, which features attack names in Japanese katakana, as originally revealed during the 2025 Pokémon World Championships in August 2025.
