STUDIO MILKFISH is a Taiwanese animation studio with many Taiwanese animators who have worked at Taiwanese animation production companies, as well as current students and graduates of animation majors at National Taipei University of Commerce, Hungkuang University of Science and Technology, and other universities in Taiwan. MILKFISH is the English name for a popular fish in Taiwan, written as 虱目魚 (Shī mù yú) and they used the name of the fish for the studio. The studio was founded by Hiroyuki Minegishi.
