Biography
Hitomi Sato is a Japanese composer and video game designer that worked for GAME FREAK. There was a job advertisement stating that GAME FREAK was looking for planners ans she had worked as a planner for about 7 or 8 years, but then she happened to hear that someone from the sound staff had quit. She had told them once that she could play the piano and when she was asked if she wanted to give it a try, she said yes.
When she was very young, her father constantly let her listen to a record that contained yodeling. He told her that one morning, before she had learned to talk, she was suddenly standing on her futon and yodeling. That’s when her parents began to hope that "this kid may have musical talent". She began playing the piano at age 3 and continued all the way until second grade in high school.
