OMG! That was an incredible contest episode, i loved almost everything about it like Hikari finally receiving her final ribbon, the grand Flame Ice Combo was timed perfectly and plusle/minun soo cute.
There are a few things that bothered me like how the creators decided to get plusle/minun to continuously use spark. Like seriously is there not another attack they could have got them to use, they must have used up to about 14 times on manmoo and hinoarashi before they got to the pikari joke. Also why was manmoo affected by spark and charge beam if it's part ground type?

Overall it all comes down to one gorgeous episode, definitely one of the best in DP!

Compared to the last episode this is an awesome episode i like that after all this time we learn of the orgins of the nickname but what is the dub going to to with the whole "dee-dee"/pikari joke??

i'm sorry but this was hands down one of the most unrealistic (in pokemon terms anyways) episode ever, the animation was good and i agree with both bgt and sunain in the point about the Kabigon beating pikachu in terms of speed. A pokemon that known for two things it speed and well thunderbolt.
