Biography
Visquez's Raichu battled a Trainer's Hypno during a gym battle at the Vermilion City Gym just before Ash Ketchum arrived. It defeated the Hypno with its most powerful attack, Volt Tackle. Raichu is Visquez's compatriot and was personally trained by Lt. Surge.
The combination of Ash's Pikachu and Ash's Gengar during the Pokémon World Championships match was too much for it and it was defeated.
