Ralph's Nidoran♂ is nicknamed Tony and is dressed by Ralph in a blue bow tie. Ralph's Nidoran♂ fell in love with Emily's Nidoran♀ however were not allowed to see each other much because Ralph and Emily were not on good terms.

It was not until Jessie, James and Meowth stole both the Nidoran that they decided to work together so they good team up against Team Rocket. When Tony and Emily's Nidoran♀ kissed after being reunited, Tony evolved into Nidorino and Emily's Nidoran♀ evolved into Nidorina.
