A press release for PokéDoko 197 was released on January 23rd, 2026 and it announced that PokéDoko would get an exclusive first look at PokéPark KANTO before it opened on February 5th, 2026.

PokéDoko Field Trip to PokéPark Kanto

Climb aboard the Pikachu-shaped “Where'll We Go Car” and join PokéLeader Ryogo Matsumaru, PokéRookie Hikaru Takahashi, Driver Abareru-kun, and Navigator Koccar (voiced by Shuhei Nakano) as they race around the world on the Pokémon variety show "Where are We Going with Pokémon?!".

The grand opening of PokéPark KANTO is on Thursday, February 5th, 2026. On the Sunday, February 1st, 2026 broadcast of PokéDoko, they'll be the first variety show to get an exclusive look at the park before it opens!!

Tomoharu Shoji from the comedy duo Shinagawa Shoji, Shunta Sono and Daichi Shiozaki from M!LK (currently trending for their Red and White Song Contest appearance), super-popular high school influencer Himahima, and impersonator JP join the hosts as guests to fully showcase the appeal of the soon-to-open PokéPark KANTO!


At Pokémon Forest, everyone was thrilled to see how many Pokémon live there!

At Kayatsuri Town, JP also made an appearance with Pikachu and Eievui dressed in carnival costumes!

Plus, Matsumaru and Sono deliver an epic Pokémon battle on the Battle Court!?


Also, enjoy the super cute Pikachu and Eievui attractions to their fullest at PokéPark KANTO!!
