For the past two weeks, a faulty video transition error on Cartoon Network just before Pokémon: DP Galactic Battles begins airing has caused various video errors on both the standard definition channel and the high definition channel. The standard definition channel seems to be affected the most by the error as the aspect ratio for the show reverts to 4:3 (Fullscreen) instead of the standard 16:9 (Widescreen). This error has caused text credits and characters to be cropped improperly during the show. On the standard definition channel, the aspect ratio error occurs throughout the entire episode.

Below are examples of the errors, one from the HD channel and one from the SD channel as well as the video transition causing the problem. Click on each picture for a higher resolution.

On the high definition channel, the first segment of the show gets compressed to an aspect ratio of about 16:7 instead of 16:9 but returns to normal by the title card. Hopefully Cartoon Network will resolve this issue soon.
