Apr 03 2011 Pokémon Smash 26
Episode PicturePokémon Smash Episode 26, A New Land! A New Adventure!! / Robert's and the International Division's Spring-themed Pokémon Charaben-making Showdown / If Director Shoko-tan Loses This Pokémon Battle, She's Fired?(新たなる大地!新たなる冒険!! / ロバートとインターナショナル部が春にピッタリのポケモンのキャラ弁作りで対決! / しょこたん部長がポケモンバトル、負けたらクビ?), aired on Sunday in Japan.

A new opening was revealed in this episode. It features the current Best Wishes main characters Pokémon as well as a Monmen. Even though the opening shows a Monmen and the anime's main character Pokémon, it is *possible* that the Monmen is Akiyama's as he seems to have taken a liking to Monmen in Smash just like he did with HootHoot in Sunday. It is also possible that the Monmen is one of the main character Pokémon. It is currently unknown at this time what significance the Monmen in the opening plays or if its just a wild Pokémon.

The official Pokémon website has announced the new game that allows players to unlock an Eeveelution in the Pokémon Dream World later this year. Unlike the Japanese Eeveelution game Pokémon Labyrinth Great Summer Research Group (ポケモンラビリンス 真夏の大調査団) that was a large an involved flash game, Play to Befriend a Pokémon! is based off the classic Taito game Arkanoid. Players are required to have a Pokémon Trainer Club to play the game so that the resulting Eeveelution can be linked and stored with an account.

When the Pokémon Global Link website launched in Japan in September of 2010, the site had to close and delay its reopening due to overwhelming Internet traffic. Once again, the Pokémon Global Link website launch is being delayed, this time for languages other than Japanese due to the earthquake and tsumani that devastated parts of Japan last week. The official Pokémon Global Link website has posted the following notice regarding the scheduling change:

"Pokémon Global Link was scheduled to launch on March 30, 2011. As a result of the earthquake in Japan and the need to conserve energy resources, the launch date has been temporarily delayed. When a new launch date is determined, it will be published here on the Pokémon Global Link. We apologize sincerely for any inconvenience caused by this delay."
